I was the same way. But I think the secret here is, that it was just a temporary lapse. If you don't completely GIVE UP, you will make it. We might have lost the battle over the weekend, but we shall win the WAR!

I normally go on what other "same type" recipes have listed. So, if it's chilli, I look up a chilli recipe and assume it's close to that serving size. Not exact but it gets the job done.

I take two roughly 1 mile walks a day on my breaks. Park as far away as I can in the parking lot.

When you say "palpitations" can you guess your rate ? I have a similar issue, and we are talking HUGE. I want to say 190+ (i could be miss remembering) but I know it's big. Just to add to this, I have a digital scale, and it's not often the same twice. I will my myself 3 consecutive times, and the weight can fluctuate by as much as 3lbs. I weigh in until I see the same number twice, and I go with that number. I may have a super cheap scale, not really sure, but this is how I have to do it.

I am interested in this as well. I know I have read many different studies. As one study will indicate benefits, another will play them down. I would like to know from people that have actually done it!
