I am now going into week 3 of my plateau. While on vacation last week I even had the time to go to the gym and work my butt off almost double what I was doing at home. I've continued that trend, along with eating well as I have been. I thought for sure I would see more noticeable changes but not a thing. In fact I've added…

So it has been about a months since I posted this first entry. I wanted to deeply say thank you to everyone who has stuck by my side and offered me advice. Pictures of my progress will be posted in the next couple days. :) Again, I can't begin to thank you all enough for the help and support you have offered. <3

OMG! You look absolutely phenomenal! I am so impressed by your hard work and dedication. I started out at 271lbs, and I can only PRAY that I look nearly as good as you when I get to 210! I also love your tattoos. One of my biggest fear is that my back piece may look awful when I am thinner, but yours still look great. That…

I've noticed it mostly in my face and collarbone area. As I woman I heard you first REALLY notice it in your boobs. I'm 23 lbs down and still anxiously waiting on that tid bit I was told to come true!

To the last several people who replied, Thank you. I know it doesn't happen overnight, I just need to break my mental block about this. After this morning, and all the help you ALL have given me, I feel as though I'm ready to ignore that scale for a bit. A measuring tape will be added in, as well as progress photos every…

LOL, thank you so much! I will be sure to log that dancin' ;)

I will try to cut the milk and cheese out of my diary. The milk I drink is usually nonfat or 1%, however I had a pesky whole milk cafe con leche the other day which I shouldn't have! The cheese I eat are usually cheese sticks as a snack when I'm a bit hungry. I will try to cut those out or at least lessen their frequency…

Oh and on another note: Never would I have ever thought that my problem would be I'm not eating ENOUGH.

Thank you, I started mulling the idea of a trainer around last week. Perhaps it's time to give it more thought.

Why am I stressing? Well because prior to this thread I had no idea that what I was experiencing was normal! :) Honestly, as I stated before, I'm fitness ignorant. I will be the first to admit I have no idea what I'm doing, so I thought I was doing something wrong. Now after all these amazing posts from you all I feel…

This last week was an AWFUL representation of what I usually eat. I always go out on monday's with my parents, this sounds lame but they are very old and like to go to bingo at the village inn and they like me to go with them. Other than that I have maybe one breakfast out a week with my mom, and maybe 1-2 lunches a week…

Thank you for suggesting this. Thank you EVERYONE who suggested this and who has replied to me on this topic. I truly had NO IDEA I was supposed to eat those calories back. Now that I do, I will be working hard to focus on that, and prevent my body from going into starvation mode!
-
Oh wow! I had no idea I needed to have a net of 1200. I thought I was being good by eating just a total food of 1200 on work out days. I will try my best to work on that! I LOVE protein, so increasing that should be easy. I try to watch my sodium intake as well as carbs but I will watch them even more closely now. I will…

The calorie goal (1580) was set by MFP with me saying i live a "lightly active lifestyle". I'm a veterinary technician and I spend 40-45 hours a week on my feet at my hospital, generally in about 3-4 12ish hours shifts. When I first signed up I didn't think I would have time to actually exercise so MFP calculated my ideal…

Your words are ever so true. I just feel increasingly discouraged as the weeks are passing with no evidence of improvement.

pretty, and looks great in pink! :)
