When I was in school, I went in the morning to school around 8 and went to work right after until close to 10. So, I went to the gym in the morning before school and got ready there. It is hard to get up that early but I would pack my clothes and food the night before so I just had to roll on out of bed put on my workout…

They only have general cardio inputs. If you search "strength training" or "circuit training" then those will show up but not the specific workouts.

I agree the quest bars are the best!

Since you are an ex-vegetarian, I am guessing you are willing to eat meat. So I would suggest chicken breast, extra lean ground turkey, fish, and extra lean ground beef. You don't have to get extra lean but I prefer it so I can get my fat from nuts or avacados.

Salads are most likely your best choice but kinda hard to eat if you can't sit down and eat them. You could also pick up a protein shake from the store. There are some pre-made ones with lower carbs.

I really like Pompei or something like that for cardio. Lift Me Up by Five Finger Death Punch or something similar for lifting.

I like to do the intervals on the stairmill in the AM for about 30-45mins and then i usually lift for about 45mins-1hour depending on what body part I am working in the PM. I find that splitting it ups makes me work harder at both and I think that helps in my weight loss.

I actually know some bodybuilders that do eat poptarts for their post workout carbs.

I think some of them can be a little high in fat I make my own at home with either my microwave chip maker or the oven. I have a slicer that will cutt them thin so the crisp up nicely. I have used sweet potatoes and regular potatoes, but not anything else yet. I also have made kale chips in the oven, just by baking pieces…

I have never ran anytype of marathon race but I will be doing a 10k on Memorial Day. I have played sports but I haven't recently been doing much running. My coworkers that will be running it with me and I set up a running schedule. We set up to run three times a week (two short runs and a longer run). We started our short…

I have used them to deadlift before. They don't seem to be too short for me personally, but when I deadlift with my husband we use a normal bar and add the weight we need.

If you are having a hard reaching the calorie amount you could try adding some nuts or healthy fats to your meals or for an evening snack. They have a few extra calories in them but are still not junk food.

I pre-log in the morning all meals I bring to work with me, but anything that I eat at home or in the evening I log as I go. I like to just have whatever I am feeling at the moment for dinner so I don't waste the effort of logging if I might change my mind.

Welcome, and you can do it! Feel free to add me if you would like.

I find that if I feel good enough to go into work even when I am sick I better go to the gym. It makes me feel better. I found in the past I woud find ways to not go to the gym or not make it a priority but this year I personally want to change that. I have added what I will be working and a apporximate time to my calendar…

Some fitness magazines also will have ideas fo lifts and they show you nice pictures. Muscle and Fitness Hers is a good one. They often show full body circuts in them. Also, I know a lady who has fibromyalgia and she has said that weight training actual helps her to feel better, I do not know if that is the case for…

I have a pair of these and I really like them. They are my favorites to run in. http://www.lucy.com/Vital-Capri/111426,default,pd.html?cgid=Bottoms_Crops They are super comfy too.

Weighted stepups or one legged lunges might be something to try for variety. Aslo, the stairclimber is a good option. I have a a love hate relationship with it.

My goal weight is 140 to 135lbs and I am 5'3". I wouldn't mind being more like 145lb if I still liked how I look, I have been trying to put on more muscle so if I am a little heavier but more muscular I am fine with it.

I think the best way to get a more accurate calorie count is to get one of those watch like things that tracks the amount of calories that you expend. Some are not very accurate but I think you can find one that would give you a much better count than the machine itself. Also, if you are lifting this will allow you to…

Welcome and good luck with your weight loss journey! Keep up the great work. I am 5'3" too and I am down to 152 from 162 in the last month. You are welcome to add me if you would like to.

Welcome back! Have a great rest of the week and keep it up!

I heard once that if you have a cold and it is still in your head it may actually be helpful to do some light cardio but if it is done in your chest that you should rest until it clears up. I don't know how true this is but it has worked for me.
