I could eat a whole bag (of any kind) of potato chips by myself. I knew it was time to get it under control when I would eat a supersized McDonald's meal and it wouldn't satisfy me so I was starting to think about order 2 meals at a time. That's when I had to put my foot down!

It seems a little disrespectful to me. I'm with you, I don't mind my husband looking (he's married, not dead). But if he is going to comment it doesn't need to be in my presence. To me that would be something he would do with his buddies.

I've tried it both ways, not exercising and exercising during that TOM and the months that I exercised (even lightly) I could really tell a difference physically and emotionally. My pants are too tight (I refuse to go to the next size up!), my bras are too tight, I am getting out of breath at the slightest activities, I don't feel well. I'm starting to go through menopause (I'm sure extra weight makes it worse!) I just don't like myself anymore.

I was the same way. I would decide to "diet" and do good all day and then in the evening I would just go overboard and not even really want all the things I put into my mouth until I went to bed. My husband does this to me too. He brings home sweets that he knows I love but he doesn't like. If it is in the house I will eat it! So I limit myself to one a day and if the craving gets too bad and I start to slip up, I just throw the rest of it away. I know a waste but it makes me feel better that I didn't eat it!

I always try to pre-log my food and exercise for the day. This helps me to stay on track. Otherwise I tend to want to skip excercise "just that day" and if I pre-log I know I have to exercise to keep my numbers straight.

I will eat anything I want. "How much" I eat of what I want will be different this year.
