That is awesome!! 22lbs in 6 weeks is amazing. I did the c25k before and had great results. I'm back to square one again but should get back to it. :'(

I'm on a similar diet, though mine includes anything bear shaped. I usually have Teddy Grahams in my smoothies and a Bear Paw for post-gym protein. The only catch is absolutely no red gummy bears, which I've really been struggling with. I generall gorge out on them on cheat days!

There's some foods that I just don't want to eat.. and I sometimes phib and say it doesn't agree with my stomach. Lots of people are sensitive to stuff with tons of cheese or bread etc., so it works. I really liked this! I do think there was one typo.. "Rule three: No food crosses your gums while you are eating." doesn't make sense. Either they mean until instead of while or they mean cooking instead of eating. I always tell myself that BLTs count! Bites, Licks and Tastes!

You can eat back the calories you burn if you like. So, if you are burning 1000, eat 2920 and you'll be fine. Congrats Deedee! I'm stuggling with the same thing. If we get one more Christmas basket filled with Chocolate... Grrrr. I didn't crack until today. BUT there was one item I was eyeing up, and I worked out a 100 calorie portion of it and enjoyed it. :) Not the end of the world, but it will be the only slip up!

I get really light headed from Green Tea. I read that while it's great at removing metals etc from your body, it removes iron stores as well. Have avoided it for awhile. I'm a big fan of mint tea, and red roiboos!

I think your mind can work much better when you feed it better. Poor diet choices can make you tired, sluggish and unable to concentrate. I think everyone is effected by it differently. My best friend always goes down about 5lbs every time she is having her period. If it's normal walking in your daily routine.. Like around the grocery store, I wouldn't count it. If you're going out with the intention of burning some calories, totally count it! It adds up. :)

I've heard the difference between gaining long lean muscle and short bulked muscle can be in stretching. Maybe throwing some yoga in there with your exercise would help you develop the muscle the way you want? :) I could be wrong though. Hopefully some pros answer you too!
