10kg (22 pounds) gone and feeling good

I am celebrating today for two reasons- this morning I completed week 5 day 3 of C25K which is a 20 minute run. Then I hopped on the scales for my weekly weigh in and have lost exactly 10kg (22 pounds) in the 6 weeks I've been back on MFP. I started at 114.3kg (252 pounds) so have a lot to lose. I know it will slow down now, but it's been really encouraging to see such great results in the first 6 weeks.

    That is awesome!! 22lbs in 6 weeks is amazing. I did the c25k before and had great results. I'm back to square one again but should get back to it. :'(
  • Thanks! You should definitely get back into it. I'm really enjoying it, I felt so good on my jog this morning. I do need new shoes though! I have tight Achilles and end up with shin splints when I try and compensate.
