  • I always just put dancing. Zumba, they say, burns about 500-700 calories on average for an hour class. So if MFP doesn't give you that many calories burned, I would adjust it.

  • Try the Couch to 5k on coolrunning.com. It's easy, and designed to get you running slowly. Even if you don't want to run a 5k, it'll help you start running.
