Count me in! I might need help with the ticker too. Can I go off of my pedometer? (3000 steps =1 mile) I don't know how else to count the miles.

I am interested! I have been fighting hypothyroidism and only gaining. I finally figured out I am gluten intolerant and feel so much better and diet and exercise are finally working to lose weight. I have about 60 pounds to loose. I would love to lose 15-20 in the next 3 months. Please add me to the group!

Bacon, egg, multi color peppers, and potatoes cooked together in a scramble.

Added you! I am starting over too.

Low iron could definitely cause that as could thyroid issues. Couldn't hurt to get some blood work done just to rule out any potential issues.

You have gotten a lot of good tips here. I would definitely second a couple of thoughts. Veggies is a huge group; it is hard to believe anyone could hate all of them. Find the ones that you do like and go from there. Try them a variety of ways to see what texture/flavors you do like. Don't eat ones you hate (after giving…

Our rule of thumb is "we don't negotiate with terrorists." I have left many a store to deal with improper behavior. I don't care what anyone else thinks, but I don't want to raise children who think the world revolves around them and their whims. I don't try distraction. I will sometimes talk with them about it.…

I know this sounds terrible, but if I had to give up pasta in order to be fit, I think I would pass. However, in moderation it can definitely be part of a balanced diet. We all have things we love and they don't have to be abandoned in the name of health only moderated. I have used Fitness blender too. They have…

I gained 10 pounds moving from the US to a 3rd world country. :embarassed: However, that had everything to do with me eating too much because I allowed stress eating during the transition. Moving cross culture can be difficult in many ways, but thankfully a healthy lifestyle can be obtained anywhere. You can do this one…

OP - You have a great list of veggies that you do like and you have obviously tried many others. There are definitely some veggies I would prefer in a soup than by itself, but overall I like most of them and can tolerate the others. Keep trying new veggies (which you obviously do already), and enjoy the ones you do like.…

Sorry, but this is not true. I hate fish. My parents made me eat it way more than ten times. I wasn't allowed to get up from the table till it was gone. I wasn't allowed to complain about it. I even got spanked if I took too long to eat it. I still hate fish. I hate the way it smells. I hate the way it tastes. I hate the…

Love it! Thanks for the laugh.

Still awesome!

This I can see. It is amazing to see people who can continue intense workouts and stay fit during pregnancy ( I have a friend who runs like crazy pregnant or not). I get that it isn't a big transformation per say. It is definitely a great accomplishment to keep going even while pregnant.

That is awesome that you were in the healthy BMI range 3 days later. I tend to gain around 50 with each pregnancy even with not going crazy and definitely not being sedentary.(Except my first when I gained 80! I wasn't very good with the diet or exercise then) I have to work it off each time. I think it is great when women…

Just for you OP! And by the way, I do post my huge twin pregnant belly to show how very far I have come from then. I am proud of the fact that I carried two lives in me at the same time (plus 5 singletons) and that I didn't stay that shape inspite of it. It didn't take me 6 weeks , but that's ok too. As a mom of 7, I know…

It is great that you as a parent are stepping up and helping your child. I know whenever I see an area in my children's lives that needs worked on, I see that area in everything they do. If you try to hit it all at once it is going to overwhelm and frustrate you both. Maybe pick a goal or two to work on for the next two…

It wildly depends on how the birth goes. With my first I bled a lot after his birth it was a long time before I felt human again! With my second, although not doing "workouts" I was back to everything within a week or two. With my 3-5, after a few weeks I felt great. With my twins 6&7, I had both a vaginal birth and a…

That when we had money that had gone through the washing machine and dryer that we were guilty of laundering money. I knew it was a crime, but wasn't sure why clean money was a problem. Also, the egg poacher in our kitchen cabinets. My mother never used it, but I could not figure out why she would even own such a terrible…

This is what I often do. Obviously mashed potatoes or loaded baked potato soup.

Hi! My first two babies were home births and I loved it! I would be completely thrilled to be able to do that again. My first one was in the second story apartment and no one new any different. Labor doesn't have to be a big noisy show. ;) My second one was a water birth. I had a huge garden tub at the place we were at.…

I could be wrong, but I don't think he was being snarky. To label some foods as absolute no's and forbid yourself of something you enjoy can be detrimental to your goals. To say, my family has addiction problems and mine is breads, takes on a victim mentality with food. It is food. Eat what fits in your goals and then…

I have to ask. What is up with the egg on the pizza thing? We just moved to Madagascar and they do that here. Why? Why ruin a good food like pizza by putting an egg on top? (Of course, so far the pizza I have tried here isn't that great to begin with, but the egg? ) Oh well, to each his own I suppose.

Yup! My lack of blubber definitely makes me feel the cold sooner. Oh well, I would rather have to carry around a sweater now and then instead of 30 extra pounds always.

Hi! I am a stay at home mommy of 7 (the last 2 was a twin pregnancy). Each and every time, I start over again working on getting back in shape. You can do it! It just takes work.

I am married and not interested in dating anyone other than my sweetheart. However, to answer the question, I think I would struggle with the idea of someone who was morbidly obese and didn't even try to do something about it. I am personally more attracted to strong thicker guys ( I married one. ) For me,a very thin guy…

Overly loud all night karaoke fest next door and my husbands snoring. What I want to be listening too? Nothing - I just want to sleep. :P (Yes, I know I sound like a 90 yr. old grump, but I'm tired and want to go to bed. It has been a long day. )
