Doing Keto OMAD and down 54 lbs so far with another 60-70 to go. Have never felt better in my life. Great energy, mental alertness, sleeping like a ROCK, etc. Black coffee in the morning, water and odd tea during the day and one big filling meal between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. Last night was thai basil pork in lettuce wraps…

Love all the people just clicking disagree since they don't practice IF and have no knowledge of it. Please people just go back to clicking on threads about "would you date the person above you". Ok now you can all click disagree on my comment please.

I've lost 29.5 lbs since August 13th on keto and have never felt better while losing weight. Had my annual physical yesterday (did the blood work last week) and doc was VERY happy with my blood work. Biggest benefit for me on keto is I am NEVER HUNGRY and doing OMAD (one nice big meal a day around 5pm). Google Jason Fung…

I have found that every time I stop using MFP to journal my food, the lbs start coming back on. I need to be accountable and logging is the best way for me to be honest with myself. Told my wife last month - "If you see me slipping and not using MFP, etc. you have my permission to hold me accountable and please give me a…

Thanks for all the thoughtful replies. I have some learning to do. A few folks have hit some key points I agree with, losing too fast (once I get started I jump right into the deep end and want the results NOW!) and not setting longer term realistic goals. I appreciate the effort people put into topics on these forums to…

5 years of maintenance - amazing! I aspire to that.
-
Sigh... nail hits head. I should read this once a week for a while. Thanks.
-
This hits home, I do have an achievement mindset and once there (or close to it) move on and fail with maintenance. Need to focus on making that a goal this time and set a longer timeframe so maintenance becomes more of a habit.

Thanks for these replies folks, some helpful stuff. Going to read them all again.

I have made dozens of things but super easy shredded chicken breast is a new fav. 4 skinless and boneless breasts on the bottom, 1/2 cup of water and 1 tbsp of chilli powder sprinkled over. Pressure mode, 15 minutes and a natural release. Very moist, easy to shred with tongs or 2 forks. Can use it straight up, in salads,…

Great job!

Today I hit 81 lbs lost since February 16th. I was stuck in a plateau for the last few weeks and finally woke up to a 2.2 lb loss. Wife hit 22 lbs lost this morning and is now under 150 lbs. We both feel great!

Had borderline high cholesterol for a couple of years so was prescribed 5 mg (lowest dose availability) generic Crestor for the last 18 months. No side effects and cholesterol dropped like a stone but have lost 80 lbs and now no longer need the Crestor. I am going to stay on it for a while anyway as many leading…

I add a huge heaping tablespoon to my morning protein smoothie and have had that every morning for six months without getting sick of it. The other ingredients are 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder, 1 plain cup of Greek yogurt and 1/2 cup of frozen wild blueberries. Top with water and blend in my bullet for 10 seconds.…

I have a big glass of crystal light over ice cubes every night after dinner and it's the sweet replacement for sugary treats. 76 lbs lost so far so I guess it's working. I use the squeezable liquid kind. I also have a few diet soft drinks a week. Diet A&W Root Beer is my fav.

I just made the recipe from the top and served it over some grilled chicken, roasted peppers and brown rice. Outstanding flavour!!! Thanks! The rest is in a mason jar in the fridge but I might have to sneak a spoonful later.

76 lbs so far. I don't mind looking in the mirror anymore.

Taking all my employees and their spouses for a weekend at the Ritz-Carleton in October and then taking the family and some friends to Cancun in November so both of those help motivate. I also put monthly 10 lb loss goals in my calendar and have made those 5 months running and already hit August 16ths target this weekend.

I am down from 346 to 273 (73 lbs) in 5 1/2 months. 1,650 - 1,900 calories a day and lots of walking, biking and racquetball. I can't imagine what I would have taken to double that loss in the same period. Congratulation on your dedication and results!
-
Great job! I am down almost 70 since Feb 16th (started at 346). It's a great year for us big boys!

Nice leg lamp (and you are an inspiration dude)!!

Congrats on your progress! I am down 52 lbs since mid-Feb and under 300 for the first time in probably 5 years. Eating 1,700-1,850 a day and walking 20+ miles a week. Will follow your journey.

Down again this morning so total loss now OVER 50 lbs. Just bought a set of Parasom A1 Magnetic Bluetooth Headphones off of Amazon yesterday and those will help motivate me for longer walks (trying to do 5 km every morning before it gets too hot). My wife hit 15 lbs lost this morning and she is down to 155 for the first…
