An HRM if we could afford it. But I'll probably ask for a session with a trainer at my gym. And maybe a digital scale.

I'm over about 750 calories and don't think I'm ever eating again. I'm so stuffed! But I don't feel like I ate that much; it's just more than what I've been eating lately. Definitely less than what I would've eaten years past. Problem is we stayed home this year so all the leftovers are in my fridge. But I feel so sick…

I found this http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/nutrition-calories/food/butterball/deep-fried-turkey-breast-thanksgiving-style/ . I know there is contention about using livestrong, but I thought it might be helpful.

I use earclip headphones. https://www.google.com/search?q=ear+clip+headphones&hl=en&tbo=d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=7DSpUO2JC4Oe9QTe-IDABg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAA&biw=1024&bih=513 They tuck around your ear. Mine always stay in place.

Congrats! You've inspired me to keep going with learning to run.

Thanksgiving is a 3 day event for us. There's the day itself, the day after when we go to the Christmas tree farm and Saturday when we decorate the house. Since it's just the 3 of us (and I always cook way too much food!) there will be leftovers for days. So I'll be eating a bit of everything for a few days. But I'm so…

Christmas cookies! Chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar - yum! And those butter cookies that come in Christmas tins - I know their horrible for you, but I can not get enough. I don't think I will be doing as much holiday baking this year since I'm watching what I eat. Plus we're working on my daughter losing a few pounds,…

I think, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but the recipe database is still a work in progress. You can choose to add your recipe so when it's up and running others can use it, but I don't think that's an option right now.

-To weigh less than my DH (that seems to be a theme) -To be at or under 200 by New Year's -To fit into a super cute shirt that hasn't fit in 2 years
-
Awesome job! That's my next goal - to hit onederland by New Year's. You have inspired me!

Your stomach doesn't actually physically shrink, but your mind and body do get used to eating less and sending "I'm full" signals with less food. The water probably helps too. I'm just now getting to the point where I feel satisfied with less food. And I don't stuff myself silly anymore.

I use the recipe tool a lot and always include the oil I cook with in the recipe. That way the fat and calories are counted per serving.

^^^This, definitely. Enjoy the day. And if you're constantly stressing all day about what you're eating, you won't be able to enjoy it. Chances are you've been eating so well that you'll make some good decisions out of habit. And if you're like me, you're so used to eating smaller amounts of food, that you won't be able to…

Bananas are higher in calories than some fruits and veggies, but they're not a "bad" food. Besides they have fiber that can help you feel full. I say if it fits in your calories for the day and makes you feel good, go for it. I have a banana protein shake a couple times a week after working out and I've been consistently…

I wake up famished and can't get to the gym until about 2 hours later, so I just eat a regular breakfast - cream of wheat with protein powder or an egg sandwich - with coffee. I usually eat about an hour before I get to the gym, so my food has a chance to settle a bit. If I don't eat before I go to the gym, I feel nauseous…

I'm 5'7" and CW is 212 (HW 220). My goal is 150-160, which will put me in a healthy range. I weighed around 120 in high school, but looking back at pics from then, I looked way too skinny. And I was always sick when I was that skinny. 130 sounds like a healthy weight for you. Maybe check in with your doctor. But in the end…

I like it with just butter and pepper. Sometimes a little cheese and green onions. Mmmmm. Now I want a potato!

We try to sit down as a family Fri, Sat and Sun. The rest of the week my DH works past our normal suppertime, so my DD and I eat without him. I also eat my veggies/salad first and save the "goodies" for last lol. I thought I was the only one who did that! We do have a few routine meals, like every Friday is pizza night and…

Greek yogurt (Fage 0% with blueberry - om nom nom!) Honeycrisp apples Nectresse sweetner
-
I've only tried the Fage so far, but they're really good. The strawberry reminds me of cheesecake!
-
No fat Greek yogurt; brown rice; lean beef, salad; apples; broccoli; whole grain pasta. These are some of the things we buy.
-
Done, though I must confess they were counter push-ups. That's all I can do right now. But it's better than nothing!
-
Use the recipe tool under the food tab. Just enter your ingredients and the number of servings and it'll tell you the calories per serving.

1 snickers, 1 twix, 1 baby ruth, 1 peanut m&m's, 1 hershey's nugget - all fun size. However, this was proceeded by 2 slices of pizza and 6 pieces of crazy bread. Ugh.

Two years ago when I was first diagnosed with bipolar, topamax was the first med they put me on. Not only did it do nothing for my moods (it actually made my moods worse) I got the following side effects: hair loss, brittle nails, loss of short term memory, loss of word recall, violent tremors and suicidal thoughts. I felt…

Never used it myself, but my daughter has been in physical therapy since she was born and her therapist tapes her occasionally. It was really helpful for her torticollis (neck tilt to one side because muscles are underdeveloped on that side.) It helped her hold her head up and the results lasted after the tape was removed.
