I'm in no way a success yet.... But I am struggling with not wanting to restrict and knowing when enough is enough. I am working on being more mindful so I can tell myself that I don't really need a certain foodstuff and I'm just bored/emotional/lonely/etc.

what confuses me is that there are like 3 different ways of finding TDEE... Katch-McCardle, Miffler and Harris-Benedict... And they all give me different numbers... Katch-McCardle would have me eating 1500 calories while Miffler and Harris-Benedict have me eating 1900.... So which one is more accurate as an obese woman?

Last weekend I was helping my mom do some pretty intense gardening. Afterwards she said to me "I don't mean to sound mean, but if we had done this last year, I don't think you would have been able to do half the work you did today!" It felt really nice to hear that I'm doing more work around the house without it killing me…

I did my first bench press about a month ago and I'm doing 60 lbs now :) Hoping to up to 65 soon ^_^ One day I'll have big plates on the bar :P But I'm in no rush ahha

I applied for a job at Orange Theory... It seems really cool and the requirement for employees is to do at least 2 workouts there a week. I didn't get it so I can't say if it's good but it seems to be. Congrats on loving it... That's awesome :)

Personally, if I go to the gym before I eat something, my workout suffers greatly. I can't lift nearly as much and I run out of energy much faster. I'd rather eat something to give me a boost of energy and be able to get a really satisfying workout.

I could be wrong, but I'd think it is the effort you put in based on your own fitness level. If you are sweating your *kitten* of and your legs are sore and you're panting... That's probably vigorous effort if it's consistent. Personally, I never go vigorous because I know that right now, it's never consistent so even if I…

I'm on W4D2 and it's getting tough now... Last time I gave up in week 3 so I'm already ahead of myself but man... Soon will be 8 minute runs and that's hard... Getting nervous about it.

I'm pretty much the same, low arch, overpronate.... I went to the Running Room and got them to fit me with a pair. It's been mostly great :) They're Asics, but I don't know which ones :$

I really hope Rachel wins! She has worked so hard and I think she deserves it.. I think the moment I said, yeah she deserves it, was when they went to the Olympic training centre and she was the only one who cooked and prepared days worth of food so she knew she would be eating properly.. Amazing. I'm so excited for it lol…

My first triumph is finally getting my bf to come to the gym! He's been avoiding it for months... The second may seem pathetic to any runners out there, but I have been unable to run to run for more than 2-3 minutes at a time forever... But today I ran for 4 minute intervals for the entirety of my C25K.. I'm proud of me!
