  • You’re confused?! I’m confused! Here is yesterday’s numbers: 1200 calorie goal - 1126 calories consumes - 819 exercice= 893 in green at the end of the day.... I don’t see red numbers
  • Ahhhhhh! I had no idea. I saw a -486 at the end of my day and thought that was it. Yeah my weight loss was steady but slow. Now it’s just stalled and well up 3 pounds from last week. I weigh myself tomorrow so we will see!
  • Thanks! Isn’t a calorie deficit what we want at the end of the day. Yesterday I ate 1500 calories and had a deficit of almost 500 calories. I brought veggies and cheese for my pre bike snack. We’ll see how that goes! I was hungry last night but I had like 4 cups of air popped popcorn. I thought the dates were too sugary !
  • I have a Fitbit to track my exercise and I have a odometer on my bike so I log it here with my speed/minutes. I find that my Fitbit is lower on calorie burn than this app.
  • I lost 25 pounds so far since November and want to lose another 15-20. I am 5 ft 6 . Honestly I don’t know what to do!
  • It is not a problem it’s just that I feel sick while biking home if I eat too much before ! I could eat a small snack maybe 30 min before leaving. My calorie intake pre workout is 1300 daily. I have put on 3 pounds in 3 weeks but it’s possibly muscle. After logging my biking and my crazy eating I am still in a deficit of…
  • Thanks for your input! Much appreciated:)
  • I feel you! You guys should know I ate 1600 calories today and I feel great. I worked out then trained and i am so happy i upped my calorie intake . The plan is to lose the weight and I am in no real hurry to lose it. Like I said 1-2 pounds a week and if it's 0.5 then so be it. Slow and steady wins the race, or something…
  • I'm going to eat an extra 500 a day. On days where I have my boxing training i can eat more because I spend a lot of calories at the gym. It will work out. Being hungry sometimes is ok but all day is just not ok with me.
  • That's mot my plan ! I want to lose but i'm not down with being hungry all the time. I'm going to up my calories:)
  • Thank you so much!
  • I do eat well. I don't eat junk food. I cook everything myself, veggies, fish and lean meat. I will start using a scale like suggested as opposed to measuring cups. Thanks for your comment :)
  • Thank you for your info! I just have a different workout regimen. I don't see myself doing dance fitness. I like to run and muay thai is my thing and I plan on keeping on :)
  • Wow! Thank you so much!
  • To be honest I feel less bloated but that's about it. I feel better as a whole, more energy and I sleep better which, for me is amazing. I am happy about those results, however, this journey is about losing 30 pounds. I am patient and committed so I am open to trying new workouts or food. I do eat tons of veggies... and I…
  • I totally understand that. I get it and i'm ok with it to some extent but this past week has been hell. I am hungry all day... i go to bed and my stomach growls!
  • It has been a month. Scale isn't moving, i'm frustrated and hungry. I push through but damn... i just had breakfast and could easily go for another plate.
  • Hangry is an understatement! I'm 40 and 5'5. I weight 183 and would like to hit 155 . I train muay thai 3 times a week and hit the gym for weights 2-3 times. I also go for random runs 1-2 weeks. I would say i am active but I could do more cardio. I just don't want to spend 2 hours at the gym everyday. Maybe more efficient…
  • Well, if I lost 1-2 pounds a week I would be satisfied. In total I want to lose 30 pounds.
  • My life without the occasional pizza would be very sad!
  • My breakfasts are usually  Sprouted wheat toast, half avocado mash an egg and lemon zest Chia bowl with yogurt, almond milk, chia and fruit and cinnamon A green smoothie with protein powder and i add ground flax seeds Or steel cut oats, with almond milk, fruit and cinnamon. I'm pretty boring and it often is one of…
  • It was the best thing for me when starting at the gym because I had no real clue what to do, however, feel more confident now and might want to switch up soon.
  • I totally understand and agree with what you are saying. All I was saying is that when I put effort in something I come to expect results. Yesterday was a bit disappointing to say the least. Nothing is perfect and I will keep at it.
  • No chocolate chips for me, instead I ate a full pizza! Just kidding, i sure felt like it but decided to clean instead! Thanks for all the kind words and motivation :) Jolene
  • You know it's all about being active ... so even a minute and wanting to pass out is better than sitting at home : ) keep going! I just read an article in Runner's World and it was explaining how to get from not running to running a 5 km. You might want to track that article down.
  • HELL YEAH! you look amazing
