Hi Given what you have already lost I would think you should be expecting to lose 0.5 kilo a week now rather than a whole kilo a week. Things will defnitely slow up now as you change your exercise pattern, you may plateau for a while but it will start moving again as you develop more muscle, your body will burn more…

I would have thought 15 pounds could be doable in 2 months if you have not other health issues. You would have to be dedicated stick your calorie allowance and do some exercise. BUT you have an amazing thing to look forward to so you have the inspiration you need to get going! Good Luck and happy dress hunting xx

I drink loads of water. try not to eat many more carbs that day and up my protein. It seems to work!

Hi, I am 55 and what is deemed as peri menospausal. I am not an expert but I understand that if you do not eat your required calories your body can go into starvation mode and thus "hang on" to any fat stores it has. I suggest you eat your allocated calories and continue the exercise. It certainly works for me and I have…

HIYA I just sent you a friend request. I am in the same boat as you and at a similar weight and with similar goals. I really need to get a grip on this as I am a deal older than you and have succeeded before so I know I can do it again if only I can find my MOJO :)

I will seek out my pedometer tonight and join in. Doing the RACE FOR LIFE (walking it) on June 16th. This will help me greatly

tbh 3 days week with eating on the other four days may well work for you. I have used them in the past for busy times in my life or when travelling to stop me eating "bad stuff" If you do it for a month you will soon see if it is working for you or not without doing any harm. Assuming you have a bunch of weight to lose?…

Sounds delicious I shall give these a go this week!

I'll bet you are in the USA right.? I have Levis bought over to the UK for my husband because the prices are so vastly different. I will have to have a look and see if I can get some shipped to my friends in the US to bring over next time they come:)

I definitley agree on the soups front it is amazing what you can do if you have tinned tomatoes in the cupboard. I love a spicey red lentil and tomato soup. But I make all sorts of variants depending upon what I have in the fridge or cupboard. Weekends I often make up a "whats left in the fridge" soup or curry. Ring the…

What a great post. I have struggled with my weight for many years due to PCOS. The one I have learned is that I need to eat to lose weight (not strave or deprive myself) My body and my condition needs to get regular nutritional input. I too do not eat much if any processed - with the exception of baked beans which I love…

Crikey is that possible?

I try and fast 2 days a week i.e 5:2 plan. When I manage it I feel great and amzingly I never feel hungry on 500 cals. I just need to sort my life so I have fixed days for doing it. I will continue my efforts and not give up. I would like some fasting buddies

I find it hard too and do now eat some fish but my main lifestyle is vege and has been for 40+ years. Do you eat dairy products? Lowfat cottage cheese etc is a handy protein snack which I spice up with sweet chilli sauce ( just a few drops) or worcestershire sauce) Remember your pulses are great protein sources and are…

I agree eat something healthy and nutritious and balance it out tomorrow or run to the cinema to burn some off! The porridge tip is handy though. Sometimes when life is tough (too busy) I have a bowl of porride with semi skimmed milk (or half ssm and water) and honey ( I keep a small supply of these in the office cupboard)…

me too. Add me as a friend if you like.

You know you will get support from me! Moral and financial when possible. Good Luck Rxx

I agree - your concerns are very sensible and you do not want to be associated with such a practice. Your concerns are for your client as well as your reputation. If she already has heart racing issues then she may have done the damage already. Talk to her next session and if she won't listen then sadly you will have to…

OOO I must find my pedometer. I have gone from being sedentary to attending 3 classes a week this month so that must be helping me with my steps. It will be good to find out

Hi I am 5' 2" and I have 1360 calories a day. I also find that doing exercise and eating my exercise calories gives me plenty to eat and I still lose weight. Don't if know if that helps

WOW that is stunning in one year and you look fantastic. This post should be pinned at the top for all newbies like me I have lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks and have another 50lbs to go. I know it is not 100+ but it still a massive amount for someone as short as me.

Oh well done I too am veggie and I do find my carbs can be a bit high and my protein WAY too low. I am also working hard on upping my protein levels. Keep up the good work
