I have never had a problem with my mapmyrun gps. It aways has almost the exact same reading as my garmin watch. I did find that Nike+ was never accurate with distance.

I made my own for my last half because I couldn't the free online one I found to print. Just kept it in my pocket. I didn't look at it much, but I kept a close eye on my pace on my watch. I think it was helpful because I had looked at it so much I pretty much knew what my splits needed to be and could estimate by my watch.…

I never ever thought that I would ever want to! But now that mine is just 6 weeks away I am more excited about it than I thought I would be. I don' t know how to quote but someone answered by saying this: "Why? Because it's going beyond what I ever thought possible. It's working up to and COMPLETING something many people…

Jillian Michaels, Jackie Warner and Bob Harper are my favorites, and all have full lenght (one hour) and shortened (15-25 minutes) if your in a rush.

I believe you need a different type of shoe for zumba. Something that moves nicely on the floor versus something with massive tread.
-
thanks! There is a track nearby maybe I should go there and calibrate it. I have heard not to do it on a tread mill. Most of my runs on the road I can drive and sort of figure it out but for trail running I have to rely on it. It doesn't bother me much since I pretty much know when its not right I can figure it out myself.
-
I have never calibrated mine but there is usually a difference of about .25-.75 miles depending on how fast I go. The tread mill always shows less distance and a slower pace. I'm not really sure if I should calibrate it or not. I don't really know how either. When I run out side I sometimes use a gps watch and sometimes it…

I used both when I did it.

I often have protein mix in my breakfast too. And I think I will try having a piece of chicken with my salad at lunch to see if that helps. I was only trying to maintain my weight, but in that process I have gained about 5-6lbs. Part of the problem is that I don't do a lot of my own cooking at dinner time (not eating out,…

I bought a $20 scale at Wal-mart. It seems to be quite accurate. Also, its digital and keeps track of two different users. So if you set it right it will tell you how many pounds heavier or lighter you are from the last time. It was pretty simple to do (to set up for two users)

Can anyone tell me which (some) foods that have "good" cholesterol in them and some that have "bad" cholesterol in them. I am supposed to be changing my eating habits based on my good cholesterol being too low as well as other things. The doctor said to stay away from simple starches, but I dont' know what foods are…

I have the same problem. I always have too many carbs but usually have some other stuff left over.
