  • This was one of my favorite toys as a kid
  • This is how I learned to type in high school...haha
  • I have been diagnosed as having celiac since 2009. Which was a relief since I was diagnosed as being malnourished as a young child, anorexic as teenager and having IBS as an adult. Turns out all the doctors were wrong, I had celiac (by the time the biopsy was done all my villi had been wiped out). It is nice to see there…
  • I have celiac disease, so cannot have any gluten at all (for example, nothing with wheat). It sucks but I guess it forces me to choose healthy. After eating some bananas a few days ago I realized I might just be allergic to them, my throat got itchy, I had hives and had bad stomach pain. I love bananas
  • I grew up in Washington state but have lived in Kentucky for about 18 years. I have a northwest accent (I been asked several times if I am from Canada) but confuse people when I use the term y' all. I cannot seem to break that, it is infectious...lol
  • I just gave birth to my third girl also on August 6th...lol But my older girls are 13 and 16, so it is nice to have a sitter while I go walk if it is too cold to take my new little bundle out. I also was 135 before giving birth, but due to have too much amniotic fluid I went up to 200! I managed to lose 45 so far but still…
  • I know how you feel, post pregnancy weight is why I joined this site. I gained 65 pounds and I have celiac disease, so it was not like I ate a lot of junk food. It was because I had too much amniotic fluid and actually lost 45 pounds very quickly but now it is like the scale wants to only go up no matter what I do, it is…
  • I can totally relate on the abs thing, I just had a baby at 35 and I cannot believe how much harder it is to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight at this age versus when I was in my 20s. It is like I have no metabolism at all now...lol
  • I was just thinking the same thing, this site is getting way to addicting, I need to get off and go do some aerobics...lol Think I will, but am sure when I get done exercising I will be back on logging my calorie loss and back to browsing the site again!
  • I shop a lot at oriental stores for rice noodles and the family seems to like those better anyway :) I will though at times just make a pot of mac and cheese for the kids to go along with veggies and a meat product, I just don't eat the mac and cheese. You would be surprised though how many companies are jumping on the…
  • When I was diagnosed I gained 10 pounds in two weeks after going gluten free (I assume due to not being sick every single day...haha). I have also noticed now that I need to lose all the weight I gained after giving birth it is much harder. I eat sensible, I refuse to eat any junk food and exercise daily but the weight…
  • I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2007 and I honestly did not buy my own pans (at the time I was going through a divorce and had no money to buy them). I just made sure the pan was very clean before I used it, I have never got sick that way (and trust me, my reactions are severe). But, it is your personal choice. I do…
