Go ahead and add me. I am trying to add more protein to every meal. I am not necessarily low carb, but always looking to have more protein than carbs at the end of the day. I also have a goal of the end of the year and am on everyday logging my meals and interacting.

That may be one of the biggest lessons I have learned on my journey- being mindful of what I eat.

My goal is to lose 40 pounds by the end of the year- hopefully sooner! Lol!

I do both- I weigh every day and take measurements every Friday.

Every morning. It keeps me accountable to myself. When I don't weigh everyday, I gain weight.

I just completed my first week.

I am similar to you. I ran into some major health problems with my ulcerative colitis last summer. Long story very short-- being on Prednisone I have gained 19 pounds. I had lost 36 pounds here over a year ago. So my doctor told me to start with 10 minutes a day of exercise. So I did that the first week. Now I am up to 15…

I always add a salad when I have a Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones-- it helps fill me up.

I also practice moderation. I LOVE❤️ doughnuts , so occasionally I will buy just one at the grocery store and not bring home a dozen that I just know that I would eat every one!

I upped my protein and lowered my carbs a bit. And then add some cardio in and the scale should get moving against! ????

Another tall girl response: I was also 5'9.5 when I was 19. I also have long legs-- 36 inch length for my pants- and I also have long arms and long feet- size 10. I also was around 145 when I was your age. Stand proud and be glad you are not tiny and petite. People will always notice you first because of your height- so…

I grow chives in my flower garden right out the front door--- nothing better than fresh chives in low fat cottage cheese. And cottage cheese is a great calcium source also!
-
that is so wonderful!

Congratulations on the awe inspiring loss! Btw, how did the magazine find you?
-
You have been doing wonderful! I give you a ton of credit for doing Insanity! Great work!
-
I hope you don't really mean that! Every single person has worth!
-
Wonderful loss and great determination! PS-- How is your wife doing?
-
Yes, of course. I think it would be safe to say everyone does once in a while.
-
I lost a 2'year old! Imagine that!

I worked hard in my gardens today--up and down, raking, moving the full wheelbarrow, etc. You better believe I count it as exercise calories!!

Speak to a doctor and find out if you have mono.

Start by adding about 2 glasses of milk a day to what you are already eating. Anorexia plays havoc on your bones, so to get healthy, eat more calcium rich foods. Also, try to eat a lot of protein because protein helps your muscles get healthy. I would start out at around 1500 calories a day, then up your calories by 100…
