  • Don't eat until you're full, eat until you're no longer hungry. Also, every day of your life isn't the most exciting day, so every meal that you eat shouldn't be the tastiest meal. If most meals are tasteless, you won't always have to worry about overeating.
  • Water. More veggies. Protein.
  • I know body fat calculation aren't really accurate but when I first was measured, the percentage of muscle, bone, organs, sect calculated to 148 lbs and now it calculates to 151 lbs so I think it's possible but at a slow rate.
  • Everyday. And I log it into mfp to keep track. I understand the fluctuations that happen so it's not discouraging at all to see my weight hovering or going up because that lets me know that I need to change my routine. Plus, I track my body fat as well so weight is not the only factor in my fitness goals.
  • It's doable. If you are really serious about your diet and exercise and can take a few pitfalls, 50 lbs can be lost in four months. The real question is if you're going to try now (I'm assuming that the dresses will be made beforehand) and not be able to fit the dress come showtime.
  • False, unless you're the po po. I've never hit on someone the same sex.
  • I'd say 34 for the woman. 27 for ray. I'm slow.
  • When stranded on a deserted island, even one aerobics session will make you reek like monkey butt. heater, rifle and keyboard
  • False. I've never been to Mexico.
  • False. I've never eaten animal organs.
  • True. I've never been swimming in the ocean.
  • I understand your frustration. I tried a little experiment with my fat loss. What I discovered is that my body had gotten used to my caloric intake and exercise regimen and adjusted itself to streamline the energy it used (I'm guessing that's what happens when you plateau). I blew my calories out of the water one day for…
  • You won't get a fit body like the ones you admire in the profile pics within a week or a month. You can't use someone else's diary as the blueprint for your diet. You will plateau so plan ahead. Study your diary to try to understand what works for you. And no matter how disgusting you think you look, take a before picture.…
  • I'm half red, half white and hald blue.
  • Or 4 slices of carrot cake. And I could eat that easily with 4 glasses of 2% milk once upon a time. My mother bakes and sells cakes and it takes about $25 worth of calorie-laden ingredients to make $60 worth of cakes.
  • I never gave up sugar completely. I was taking in 500+ grams a day. I've had cancer, renal failure and other health problems before the age of 30. I was never morbidly obese but I've had a gut since I was 25. I indulge in a juicy steak or a fast food burger quite often but they don't seem to affect my gains. Sugars do.
  • I actually did a Google search and found this post. The responses are interesting because I've been trying to find out more about other's experiences. I never even thought of cutting sugar from my diet before. I would spend 2hours in the gym everyday for 6 months and lost a lot of weight but couldn't get cut. I also used…
  • Treat the woman you meet at 36 like gold or you'll regret it. Oh, and play these numbers when you're 35....
  • Hello everyone, I'm Jay. I'm a 38 year old father of three. I started my quest for a 6 pack in 2006. I worked out 6 days a week for five months and went from 236 to 199. From there, I could not lose another pound to save my life. I finally gave up my quest and promptly gained 15 of those back. I figured my DNA was…
  • I...love...pasta. I would eat a pot of pasta in two days. Sweets and bread were also problems. Also, I got confused by terms like low-fat or heart healthy instead of understanding calories. Those reasons became a whirlwind of weight gain from 160 to 236. I gained 31 lbs in one month which lead to my liver failing. I…
  • When I feel that way, I usually just revert back to something that I ate in the past. For instance, one day right after I ate dinner, I was still hungry. I ate a waffle with syrup and was fine after that. I definitely am not a clean eater but I did cut way down on sugars and starches. I think you just have to figure out…
  • It's not illegal. It's frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane. -The Hangover
  • The turnover where I work is high. Like 200 - 300 a day. Man, people can't get enough of these apple turnovers here.
