  • Hello. I am disabled. I wanted to tell you that it is possible to loose weight. I am doing it again for the 3rd (and last) time. The first time I lost weight i did nothing by watch my calories and I dropped 30lbs without exercises. Don't think because you are disabled that there is nothing you can do. You have to find what…
  • Honestly I would call your insurance company or your doctor and ask them to refer you to a nutritionist that specializes in pregnant women. Asking here isn't the best resource for your baby.
  • Take your own food. That is what I intend on doing.
  • My goal weight has a bmi of 25.6. That's still overweight but at that point it will be over 70lbs lost. I've always been heavier than I look. I think I can be quite happy being overweight.
  • You look great! and I love your haircut.
  • Great work!

  • I guess you can never have too many people saying 'wow, amazing'. So here's another. You look amazing.
  • I have a genetic disability. My neck is perfectly straight, of course it's not supposed to be. I have 3 pillows I rotate between. Each one is vastly different from each other. But if my neck is too stiff or hurts to move then I don't do much more than watch tv. Take it from a person who has to struggle to walk up a flight…
  • Use a warm towel on your neck, muscle rub if you have it. Skip the workout. Getting a serious injury isn't worth it.
  • We're already friends but i'm going to offer a different viewpoint. Step away from fast fatty food. I'm not sure what 'clean' eating is but healthy eating is something to focus on. For the past month I've focused on eating high protein, low fat meat and fiber from veggies, rice and/or bran cereal. Making the decision to…
  • I eat around 1200 calories a day. I split my meals into 4, 300 calories each. The secret to making it easy is protein and fiber. 4 ozs of baked chicken, 1/2 cups of rice and 3/4cups of mixed veggies in a typical meal. I have plenty of energy and am never hungry.
  • I decided that how I was living my life was grossly irresponsible to myself. I have a genetic condition that makes my weight affect my joints more than other people. I had always keep the number 200 in the back of my mind... as long as I don't go over I'm fine. But of course that was a lie that I let myself live for 42…
  • You are amazing! And sharp looking in that suit!. Thank you for sharing with us.
  • Since you are struggling with food I would suggest a complete chain of your eating habits. The first time I lost weight I simply counted my calories and stuck to 1200 calories a day 98% of the time. I lived by myself so I didn't buy anything that didn't have the calories on the side of the container. Nearly all my meals…
  • It's great to have friends. I am inspired to work hard by the group of friends that I have. I give them encouragement as much as I can. But No one can do this for you. None of us can go party with you can keep you from drinking that beer. I can assure you that it is most definitely possible to have fun without it. You have…
  • I'm not going to even say that I know where you are coming from. I've been in a relationship that was unhealthy and had alot of verbal abuse but I vowed when I was five years old and my aunt's boyfriend put her in the hospital that no man would ever hit me. So I'm probably not someone you will add to your friends list but…
  • I would have flipped her the bird and told her to go eff herself. No one can make you feel bad about yourself. They can be a poor excuse for a person but you have to allow them to hurt you. And honestly why would you care what a poor excuse for a person says anyway. Obviously we are all here for our health but beauty…
  • The main thing water is going to do for you is make your digestive tract a happy camper. Every time I stop staying hydrated I get a reminder of why it's needed when I go to the bathroom. My recommendation would be to drink a lot of fluids and make sure at least one glass a day is water.
  • Make up your mind that you are going to loose weight and not play at it. I know that sounds harsh but it was something not long ago I could have said to myself. I did, in fact, say to myself. This is the 3ird and last time. I'm 32 days in to the rest of my life. Are you ready for the rest of your life? Because the rest of…
  • If your husband eating different food from you is causing you distress, then eat in different places and make a point to do something else together each day for your couple time. You can't force someone else to change how they are eating but you can control how it affects you. My family understands that I won't be eating…
  • 8 years ago I lost 42lbs. I had the exact same shape at 150lbs that I did at 192lbs. I knew I was smaller because I was wearing smaller cloths. Hell I was making those smaller cloths but in the mirror the only thing that had changed was the shape of my face. I choose not to be frustrated about it. I was lighter and…
  • I focus on protein. You can take a look at my diary. If I could bottle the energy I have I would make a mint and this started June 1st. So I know my energy level is directly related to how I am eating. I don't know enough to say that everyone will get the same result but experiment. See what works for you.
  • It's better than you make physical goals, such as changing one eatting pattern per week. 15minutes of exercise each day for a week. Then 30 minutes of exercises each day ... and so on so that you are building up your endurance and learning how to properly fuel your body. This is a life long commitment. You didn't gain all…
  • Good job, you're looking great!
  • Inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
  • 200lbs was my 'breaking' point too. I was 'fine' as long as I didn't go over 200. I've stomped all over 200lbs for the past few years. I should have had a lower 'breaking point' number. I have a genetic condition that all the extra weight just makes worse. Recently my right hip area has started to fail. Take a few steps…
  • If you want to keep an idea of fat loss you need to get a measuring tape. You can find them in the craft/sewing department of any box store. Take your measurements once a week. If the scales don't move but your measurements have gone down then you've traded fat for muscle.
  • I totally changed my diet (as in what you eat, not what you do to loose weight). There will be many people who voice up to tell you that you don't have to stop eating your favorite foods. You just have to east less of it blah, blah, blah... blah, blah. And that is true. I've lost weight that way. But it was HARD. I mean…
