Thanks for the motivation @themedalist !! Great suggestions on here.

This is wonderful. I'm in desperate need of a morning routine. I tend to worry about everyone else and stress about what needs to be done. I think developing a routine would help alleviate some of that stress. Thanks for the helpful post!

I've never liked milk and don't digest it well. It wasn't hard for me to give up.

Hopefully you can focus on eating healthy instead of weight gain. Eating whole foods allows me to eat copious amounts of food while maintaining my weight. You can worry about weight loss after the baby is born. For now just focus on nutrition and the baby. It will all work out in the end:)

I love this! I've gotten to where I am in life by making small changes. It's less uncomfortable and easier for me to accomplish.

I weigh myself almost daily. I know to some it sounds obsessive, but it's a way for me to stay aware. Whenever I go a long weekend without weighing I'm usually up a couple pounds. Logging helps but weighing keeps it in the back of my mind.

I've been vegan for almost a year. Vegetarian for 3 years before that. I'm in maintenance now but I did lose my last 10 when I became vegan. I also think more activity during the summer months contributed. Good luck on your vegan lifestyle!!! Feel free to add:)

I love roasted potatoes with peppers & onions and a bunch of seasonings. I never gain when I have potatoes for dinner. It's strange but I can eat a lot of them and never have issues. It also digests easily for me. Another carb bomb that I have occasionally is pasta with garlic sauce, broccoli and sun dried tomatoes.…

I'm basically a carb. I eat oatmeal, rice, potatoes and pasta occasionally. I love hummus and hot sauce as condiments. I tend to eat the same throughout the week. Since I'm in maintenance I'm not as careful with logging, but my diary is open to friends. You can add me if interested!

Vegan here. My diary is open to friends. Feel free to add me:)

I've been hypo since 19. I'm 32. I've had weight fluctuations but it's all been within my control (birth, overeating, losing weight). I wish I could say it's had an effect either way, but unfortunately my diagnosis hasn't seemed to impact me at all. I will tell you that I've been consistent with my medication and get my…

1: Weighing myself daily 2: Weighing food 3: Consistent exercise. Weighing daily isn't for everyone but it allowed me to take note of weight fluctuations and connect it to my daily intake and activity. Now that I'm in maintenance I don't feel as much pressure but I try to stay consistent in the habits that got me to my…

For me personally whenever I take a break from lifting and jump back in, I puff up (bloat) for like a week. No idea why this is, but I expect it now so it no longer worries me. Three weeks at a deficit and additional cardio should've netted you a loss. Are you weighing your food? Open your diary so we can offer some…

Vegan here! So glad to see more people:) My favorite food these days is a veggie burrito with hummus. It's quick, easy and filling. I chop veggies to throw in and I'm on my way to the next stop.

I think this discussion is missing some context. Has anyone see the #haes #pizzasisters4lyfe #plussize #honormycurves #fatbabe that's going around???????? As much as everyone wants to get upset at this woman for making this video, I think we should be equally disgusted with people promoting obesity. People want to say…

It took me a year and a half to get to my goal. I would've preferred to do it quicker, but I think the year & a half helped me to establish some pretty good habits during that time. I've yo-yo'd several times and always gained back. The reason I think this time will stick is because I've created a routine that's easy to…

Wow! That's great to hear. Thanks for that:) I think it's hard to let go of the weight loss mentality and focus on building strength. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm a vegetarian and eat mostly vegan, except for the odd times when I'm out to eat or at a party since I don't know 100% what's in certain things. I'm also mostly GF. I stick to whole foods and don't usually have a problem. I eat a lot of rice, potatoes, corn pasta and fruits and veggies. I used to have a major sweet…

I can definitely feel it in my legs when I've been sitting for a long time!

I like resistance bands and you could get some 8-10 lb dumbbells. I invested in a weight bench after using smaller weights for a while. Also, simple push ups can really help and those are FREE. Hope that helps:)

Yum! These sound great. I will have to give them a try. Thanks for the recipe!

Sorry. Nutrional info: 15 grams of Nutella 81 calories, 13 grams of Cool Whip is 36 calories and 60 grams of banana is 53 calories. Whole dessert is 170 calories:)

Congratulations! Great work.

I say toss those veggies you like into a soup or stir fry! Filling and healthy.

I won't knock it till I try it. Sounds interesting!

Thanks to everyone for all of the advice. I enjoyed reading the responses. It really helps!

Wow, I feel like I could have written your post. I've been trying for MONTHS to dig myself out of the hole of contentment. I was finally able to fit into *some* of my old clothes and thought I'd made it. When I was 20 lbs heavier I would've loved to be at my current weight. I do the week vs weekend shuffle, where I…

Wow, we have almost the same stats! I'm 5'9" and 168. My weight loss started off great last January and I've stalled/maintained for the last 3 months. I know exactly why though. I'm just not putting as much effort into it as I used to because I'm comfortable:( I do want to be at 160 sometime soon, but I've been lazy. I…

We are our own worst critics sometimes. Mine have gotten slightly better, but I still plan on having surgery which is something I've wanted before even having kids and losing weight. My husband is much more attracted to the confidence I have in my new body vs. what my boobs look like. Plus, it helps that I have a nice…

This^^^ . Great advice. I still eat veggie burgers and lots of bean burritos because life gets too hectic for me, but I still try to add as many vegetables as possible. It reduces bloat and makes my skin better. It's too easy to carb and dairy overload. I did it for months before I woke up and realized all the wonderful…
