I am 6'1" and 400 lbs. For the past two weeks I have struggled to hit 2000 calories per day, let alone the 2800 I am supposed to reach (before adding in the calories for exercise) . 2000 calories is a lot of food.

5 egg omelette, filled with one cup of leftover chili and three slices of cheese and topped with salsa. Served with 6 slices of bread or more. And this was just breakfast.

I will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of my 25th birthday in January. Not sure if I would be here today without MFP. I was in pretty bad shape when I found this place in December 2010. After a long lapse over last year, I have been back at it for 60 days straight. I may not log my food every day, but I check in every…

I never really cared. My birthday is Jan 5, so it is shortly after all of the big holidays. Recently I have scheduled my vacations around it, though, as an excuse to take a trip to a resort for some ice fishing. This next one, though, will be my 50th. We'll see how I feel about it as it gets closer.

I always think they are way over, so I look up my exercise on several website, then take the average of all of them. It seems to work well enough.

If you are doing well in your plan, don't sweat the pizza. An extra piece is not going to derail you. As mentioned earlier, everything in moderation including moderation.

Before we relocated I usually had 15-20 eggs per week. However I raised my own chickens and had fresh eggs every day. Now I nay have 6 per week, as I don't find the store bought eggs all that flavorful.

That white thing you see in the egg is not an umbilical cord. It is what holds the yolk in place inside the egg. it is called a chalazae (pronounced cuh-LAY-zee).... Now you know, and knowing is half the battle! G.I.JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOE! GO JOE!

Oh, not for me. Meat is the cats meow. Good luck and enjoy though!

Does your other half: Do an equal share of the housework when he/she is home? Sorta... we both hate it and do it maybe once a week. Cook for you? No, I do all of the cooking for her and I. Go food shopping? Yes, I hate it! Give you massages when you ask? Yes. And sometimes when I don't. Tell you you are beautiful/handsome?…

I am a maintenance man. My dream job would be a product field tester for a major fishing gear manufacturer.

No wonder I am so fat. That 1 TBSP of sweet & low I use when I make a 3 qt. pitcher of tea twice a week is the culprit..... :P

Muscles are swollen? Forgot to put the weights down before getting on the scale? One of those two, I am sure.

Yes. Beef tongue. I couldn't believe how many calories are in it, and I love it. Fortunately, I am still at a higher calorie count, so I can continue to enjoy it for a while longer.

Thanks, I'll look into some of these smart phone apps.

When I worked overnights I had to set my regular life schedule accordingly. All my meal times were adjusted to meet my work schedule. I ate "Breakfast" before leaving for work (Usually what the rest of the family had for dinner). Lunch at the appointed time and then a light meal for "Dinner" after work. This really helps…

Others saw a difference from about 30 pounds on. I didn't see it until about 90 pounds lost.
