Well guys I am yet to weigh myself since I last posted, but I have certainly lost a bit more weight, my waist has shrunk even more and FINALLY my stomach has started to go down :D I'm feeling really good today, thanks to everyone who gave me advice
-
I have actually used that one, and it gave me a totally different figure to the scoobys bmr calculator, hence why I'm so confused lol

Bump

These are my details: sex male, age 21, weight 218 lbs, height 72 inches, Body fat percentage 32.5% I was eating 1790 cals but upped them to 2040 recently due to this confusion, what seems right before or after?
-
I will try that, thanks a lot
-
Thanks, I used that and even that is telling me to eat 2200 cals a days to lose 1.1 lbs per week! Man I've been eating 1790 for a long time which seems way too low now. What do you guys think if I eat 2000 for a while and see how it goes? Or is that still too low?

Thanks for the input, using fat2fit radio, it tells me I should be eating 2314 if I'm sedentary, 2651 if I'm lightly active and so on, I entered my weight which is 218 lbs, my height which is 72 inches, age which is 21, goal weight which is 175 lbs and body fat which is 32.5%, so I'm really confused on how much I should be…

Thanks, I used the military calc and then worked out my bmr by putting in my body fat percentage, and when I times that number by 1.2 (if I'm sedentary) I get a number of 2630, so how much should I be eating? I've been eating 1790, and lost a little bit of weight, but now it seems like the weight loss has stopped
-
It's just when I put my details in MFP and set it as I wana lose 1.5 lbs a week it tells me to eat 1790. I do weight training 4 days a week and hour cardio 2 times a week
-
I've not tried eating more, but right now it seems like my weight loss has stopped :-(
-
What did you use to work out how much you should be eating?
-
Yeah I manage 1790 ok tbh, I just don't want to be eating less than I should be Ps my bmr is 2600
-
Just did the test as shown in the video and all seems normal thanks
-
That makes more sense, thanks bro
-
Nope not allergic to anything, but most people are saying water retention so will keep that in mind
-
Thanks for the input, Yeah I'm actually doing a lot of walking, uphills etc so thanks
-
wow 20-24 glasses of water a day!! that sounds crazy to me, I'm running to the toilet after every 2 glasses lol but how many glasses should I be drinking?
-
Sounds like it makes sense lol, well thanks I guess I will stop the ab training for now
-
Thanks people, I will post results in a few weeks or in a months time
-
Thanks for replying. So your saying I should tighten my abs when I'm lifting?
-
Thanks for the reply, I'm taking Optimum Nutrition casein and whey but only on weight raining day. Just did a google search on cortisol, and I'm thinking you mean having too much stress, but thats definitely not me tbh
-
Right, now I'm really feeling discouraged, I'm doing everything right and seem to be losing weight, but it really feels like my stomach is getting bigger :-( how is this even possible? its not the fact that I'm not losing it on my stomach, its where it looks like its getting bigger, what could i be doing wrong? all my…

Thank you, you're a 9 too (mainly because the "about me" part of your profile is very interesting)

U could be right, I have days that my stomach feels like its gone in, and other days it feels like its sticking out a bit. I think if I lose fat there that should solve my problem though, I'm just going to stick to it until it goes :-)
-
I'm actually on a diet which gives me a deficit of 650 calories every day 7 days a week
-
You could be right, I will be honest and say I dot drink enought water, but I will look to drink more mate, thanks for the tip
-
I will do mate thanks, and congrats on losing 26lbs so far
