doctor has me on a 1000 cal diet. I consume most of those calories from protein and I have lost 15 pounds in five weeks. The protein helps regulate my sugar and is a great filler. I had tried everything. finally found something that works. I think that it depends on the individual.

Protein drinks after the workout is great and will help build muscle. As I am also hypoglicimic.

I do both. NO absolutely No carbs and I stay with my alotted calories. I have been juicing now for five days and have lost five pounds, I recommend watching Fat, Sick & Nearly DEAD. It taught me a lot.

I like to drink protein drinks after a work out whenever hungry. They are extremely high in protein low in calories which is great for muscles. You are supposed to maintain your daily allowed cal so they say. Do what I do when in dought... Google :)

The question is! What is skinny? I always look at size. I don't even know what skinny is unless I see someone who is so thin you can see through her/him.

There was I time in my life where I was very depressed about my weight and my doctor said to not look at the scale but to look at the way my clothes fit. I am serious about weight loss. So right now I am a member here, on weight watchers and iFit. I do alot of meal entries comparing weight watchers to mfp. MFP is easier by far and mfp gives me more calories than iFit so I try to balance all three and between them I should see some results.
