Count me in! I'm 36 and have a goal to lose 20 pounds. I'm in my 5th year of wellness and know what I'm supposed to do but either life gets in the way or I'm plumb lazy!

I got one for Christmas and so far loving it! Still learning about it but it's awesome. I'm looking for some buddies while I'm learning about it: http://www.fitbit.com/user/23ZWT5

That's not too bad of an idea!

I did the Beast In Glen Rose a few weeks ago. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life...and I loved every minute of it! Defiantly work on upper body and core strength to prepare for any Spartan...either that or practice burpees! I desperately want to get my trifecta but the cost of travel and the race is a bit…

Okay so it's super high cal...how can it be modified to be healthier?
-
Um yeah...I want to eat the whole thing...in one sitting! This will require A LOT of will power!

A couple of things...I think that at 5'9" and 106-110 is not healthy, even for someone with a small frame. It sounds like you're saying you have an eating disorder or did I interpret wrong? Keep in mind that you're a woman and women are supposed to have some curves. I'm sorry that your parents are making such negative…

That sounds like crazy fun! I live in Texas so I think California is a bit too long of a drive. :-)

Hello?
-
Welcome back! Today marked 455 days of me logging in, paying attention to what I eat, and exercising intently. I started January 1, 2011 and in a year I lost 25 pounds, 8 inches off my waist and went from a size 14 to a 4/6! That may not sound like a lot , I wasn't that big to begin with. I decided that at 177 pounds and…

In the past I would just change it every day. You could set your calories at the higher number and on your non workout days you'd be technically under.

The best way to burn fat is cardio and surprisingly resistance training. The more muscle you have the more efficiently your body will burn fat. I'd say hit it hard when you're doing cardio and stay in your fat burning zone. Work on building muscle all over but to target your inner thighs you can do leg raises and squats.…

SO sorry to hear that I totally understand. In that case, you should see it as soon as you're able to.

I just finished THe Asylum a couple of weeks ago. Shaun T is totally nuts!
-
I've done one round of P90X, then Turbo FIre, and I just finished Insanity: The Asylum. If you need motivation, tips, or whatever I'm happy to help!

I'm training for The Spartan Sprint in May, so I'm working on building muscle too. I've done P90X, Turbo Fire, and Insanity: The Asylum. My good friend is studying to be a personal trainer and I'm her guinea pig of sorts. We're doing lots of lifting. Oh and run at least once a week.

Welcome!

Bueller? Bueller?

"It's all because of Turbo Fire!"

I workout 6 days a week, alternating cardio and strength and need that rest day. It's important to let your body rest and recover. Your muscles need the chance to repair. Plus a rest way will reduce the chance on injuring your body.

If you're just starting out I'd try one of the following programs: - Turbo Jam - Bidy Gospel - Slim in 6 - Rockin' Body - 10 minute Trainer - Power90 - Yoga Booty Ballet They start at $60 but you get an TON of products. There's even a way to save 25% on your order. If you're not ready for that you can do interval training.…

I have my goal set to lose .9 pounds a week and my cals are set at 1300. Ill eat the 1300 and my exercise cals which can be anywhere from 1500-1800, depending on the workout. The BMR said: 1416 cals /day. So I guess up my base calories? I've been at this for a year and thought I had a handle on it but I guess I sure showed…
