I admit that it is a downside.... its accurate enough for me, if i remember to touch it whenever i feel my HR changing. Of course using a strap is going to be more accurate. The chest strap doesnt fit me well so i choose not to wear it because it never registers a reading.

i have a sportline duo that comes with an optional chest strap.. i never wear it. only downside to strapless is you have to touch the watch often with your finger to keep your heart rate readings accurate. with that said, i LOVE my watch and wear it all the time. its great! Lindsey

I have torn my rotator cuff in the past, but now my shoulders are unstable due to lack of cartilage. I was doing physical therapy but with my insurance, it was a lot of money twice a week to mostly do that stupid arm bike! hate that thing :) i guess i was just hoping this would be easier, but wishful thinking!

I've been gluten free for about a year now.. tested negative for celiacs but doc said i have an intolerance to it.. i feel WAY better now that i've cut it out. the hardest part for me is not cheating. I'm very diligent about checking ingredients and I definitely notice I feel a lot better. Feel free to add me :) I'm always…

My aunt had to take me to the hospital last august when i was 19 because I had severe stomach pains and nausea. the whole way there i felt like i was having contractions... she said she knew i was pregnant because i was getting fatter than i already was. turns out it was appendicitis. she hasnt said much to me since.

i had the same problem. after eating wheat, I'd look pregnant within ten minutes. mine would last for hours/days though. I cut all gluten out of my diet for three weeks and it solved all of my symptoms. I think I may also be partially lactose intolerant as well but regardless, an elimination period is best so you can…

also i usually find myself singing songs in my head but its very helpful to find a constant rhythm that you can keep constant for the amount of distance you need to swim.
-
im a distance swimmer.. have been for 12 years. how many yards/meters do you have to swim? i would say slow your kick down and focus on arm recovery out of the water and an effective underwater pull. focus on keeping your form efficient. how often do you breathe while swimming? i typically breathe every three strokes..…

i had the ninja for about... three hours. i hated it in comparison to my friend's vitamix. i make green smoothies with spinach and the ninja just did a terrible job. i couldnt even drink it. it is a powerful blender, but awkward and not as versatile as the vitamix. i dont know anything about the blendtec but the vitamix is…

wheat and dairy free can be hard... but its also fun! you can buy gluten free mixes for cakes, cornbread, etc, and use almond or coconut milk in place of dairy. as for cheese and ice cream, yeah its tough!! i usually cave once a day or so on dairy. i know whole foods carries rice cheese but it is more expensive.

most starbucks in particular use splenda in their ff/sf syrups. a "skinny" latte at SB just means they use the splenda syrup, non fat milk, and whipped cream. splenda gives me migraines, so i just get a normal drink with non fat milk and no whip. this eliminates alot of calories. the full fat/sugar syrup is my treat to…

Pretty Woman and Chicago :)

MOTHS. they are furry and flop around unpredictably and i had a bad experience when i was a kid.. i have an interesting time trying to get inside my house when they are swarming around the porch light.

certain blenders are strong enough to crush up almonds, peanuts, etc. into a butter. you can make it as creamy or chunky as you want. as for the taste, i LOVE almond butter. sunflower seed butter is also very good. nutrient wise, each nut has their own nutritional values but are pretty comparable. i would say rotate…

in my first aid class, we learned to ice bruises for ten minutes on, ten minutes off. the same rule could probably apply to sore muscles and joints. try that to see if it helps alleviate the shock
