  • Wow it just shows how sneaky those carbs can be ;) Really helpful to be reminded how vigilant you need to be cos nothing more frustrating than to think you are doing the right thing and have your results undermined by something you are not aware of. Thanks for the reminder :)
  • That sounds REALLY good :)
  • has anyone come across a script that is a safari version for the net carbs-one that is a click away for us non tech types ;)
  • i will start to search for some as i think it makes it soooo much easier if the recipe itself has ideal macros rather than trying to always choose this choose that and hope to balance the macros at the end of the day ;)
  • Great resource-thank you for the link :D
  • Well you know the saying-misery loves company ha ha. But I must say I am glad in a strange way to know that I'm not alone with this issue. • Hi-just to clarify. I'm just a little under 5'3, 61 yy next week and my exercise pretty much consists of v brisk walking on the treadmill for 30mins several times a week. I would guess that my body comp is probably 50% body fat as I weigh nearly double what I did when i was in my 20s :ohwell: I arrived at the 1200 cal…
  • Thanks for all the suggestions-I think i will have to raise the chicken and fish amounts-cant get the protein powder as i live in China. • I have never heard of pumpkinseed butter either. I'd like to try and make my own but wonder what/how you use it? Nice website- as a new grandmother i'd like to know what my grandson should start eating once he's old enough to have solids.
  • Thanks !!! I'm feeling really great- the bloat in my belly has shrunk so much I can actually lace my shoes with out feeling like my organs are getting shoved into my diaphragm-so i dont struggle for breathe to do something so mundane. And my hubby who is also eating primal no long has issues with reflux, belching etc. Even…
  • What a great combo-I'll have to give it a try:tongue:
  • Ive been primal (on and off) for a while but decided to get a bit more disciplined/realistic with the help of myfitnesspal. I like the way I can tweak the nutritional ratios-very helpful-and feel very positive with my first week of reported progress. The journey begins
  • Thanks for sharing-that is really encouraging to those of us just starting out. I have played around with Atkins/Low carb on and off for several years and did see some positive changes in my blood work - I basically eliminated sugar. Now going full on primal and ditching the grains-wow belly bloat disappeared overnight-now…
