Most often this. Forgive and forget.

Depending on how long you've had it, over 2 weeks, its a good chance your tendonitis is turning into tendinosis. You may not want the cortisone shot at that phase. Best writeup I've found on the difference. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3312643/ I took the shot, I didn't find it that painful. It did not fix…

Dan, I think finding PT as good and focused as yours is hard. My PT has regained range of motion. But not strength or removal of pain. My gut tells me that I'm not doing the right stuff, that they have me doing light weights, but, I shouldn't be doing them at all. I'm really interested for you to tell all about about…

I'll do my best to provider encouragement if you want guy pals.

I agree with this. So many people asked me if I'm sick. I've started saying one of 2 things. 1) Yes, I'm dying. or 2) Do I look sick?

Here is the oversimplified version of my 22 month slow but steady weight loss effort. 205 lbs > 190 = cut out dessert during the week and take only one plate 190 lbs > 185 = cut out dessert on weekend one day only 185 lbs > 175 = exercise properly and routinely, track what I do and eat at 183lbs - bought 4 sessions with a…

I've been having right knee pain/tweeks when I squat. I noticed on my own that keeping my weight on heals and outside of foot helped reduce that problem. So, in the video "So you think you can squat" , when he said that you should keep your weight on your heals/outside, it resonated with me. I plan to keep all the things…

Woot!! Woot!! Way to go!
-
Gotta admit it, this is pretty spot on for me too.
-
Good work, you should be pleased with yourself!
-
Awesome, I guess it goes without saying that you feel so much better than you did before in addition to your weight lifting accomplishments.
-
Great for you! Hooray!!!
-
Be happy to be your pal and support you if you want guy friends. Best of success to you either way.

Sounds like you've gained a bit, not much. Sounds like you acknowledge that you gained and want to do something. So the only thing that I can't tell by your comment is if you are willing to do what you did in the past(or try something new) to bring your weight to where you want it. I've been up and down many times myself…

Give em to me.

Slow and steady wins the race. It's taken me 22 months to loose this weight/ 45 lbs. You hang in there kiddo, cause you are lookin' great, and you will look and feel better still. Best days are ahead of you.
-
Great, I'd be happy too if I were you. I loved cutting the end off my belt when it got too long.
-
Great work there, you done good
-
Awesome job!

Me too, I still have another 8-10 lbs to get to goal, but, I'm concerned that's one area I won't be able to fix. My spare tire now looks like a deflated skin-nertube hanging over my belt when I wear jeans but no shirt.

I have to say that most people did NOT notice my early weight loss. From 205 pounds down to 180, only my mom and a handful of females noticed. Then when I dropped to the 170s more people noticed. My arms were looking bigger and veinier too from my training. I bought clothes that fit, then lots of people noticed. Many guys…

Lookin' good dude, your hard work shows.

I didn't come back to MFP, this is my first time using it. But, I did lose and gain weight many times in my lfie. I think it boils down to 2 factors for me. 1) Stress- Life has ups and downs, at least mine. Sometimes the demands on my time and emotions seemed I needed to give in to other priorities. 2) Diet vs Healthy…

Asked on FB who wanted them. 3 friends said yes, so, they each got a garbage bag full.
