Hello! Back here after losing 70 lbs a few years ago. I've gained half of it back  . I could definitely use some friends to help stay accountable to my goals and motivated by the journey of others

Hey everyone! This is my very first challenge and I'm going to give it my all! My name is Kassandra and 2 years ago I was halfway to my goal weight - then life happened and I got side tracked :(. I'm back at it and want this because I want a family soon, I want to be healthy and strong for my children as they grow up. I…

I started at 270 pounds and I'm so proud to say I'm at 195! I'm working to get to my ultimate goal if 135, and I'm more than halfway there :)

I started zumba at 245 pounds and had a pre-existing knee injury. Like every says, stick to your own pace. Zumba is not about making sure you copy exactly what the instructor is doing, but all about having fun and moving! There are things like some lunge moves that I know my knee might give out or it will be very sore the…

Frozen berries, banana, shot of orange juice (or any non-concentrated juice) and a little water. I like yogurt but prefer not to have yogurt in my smoothies in the morning. :)

Now I love going to the gym because I see regular people who have similar health interests and it became something I look forward to. If you find an activity that you enjoy…

I'm not tall but I'm short and fat. I hit the same wall you did a few months ago when I realized that I want a family with my husband and I don't want my weight holding me back anymore. If you would like to be friends on MFP, feel free to add me :)

I forgot to add, If you're feeling uncomfortable I always just repeat a day until I feel like I can do the next run.

You will do great! Mind over body, except of course if you feel pain then body of mind lol. I "run" pretty slow just so that my body could get used to running. I just finished the C25K program and I was always trying to run fast, until I realized that I could accomplish a run if I slowed down. I am not working on speed…
