I'm in Mobile, AL, but lived in Birmingham for over 10 years.

I've been natural since October 2010. I love not having to worry about my hair when I workout. I've straightened my hair once since going natural and I'm thinking about doing it again.

My job affords me the flexibility to go to the gym on my lunch break, which I love versus going at night. That mid day rush from working out prepares me for the rest of my work day. On days when I have meetings or have errands that have to be run, I either go in the evening or workout with a DVD at home.

My final straw was realizing that everything I wanted to wear I could not because it was in Missy/Junior and I needed to shop in Plus. I did a Daniel Fast for 7 days at the beggining of the year. I think my dates were January 2nd til 8th.

Genetics for Walmart, Target, and a few other are $4, but all Rx companys have patient assistance programs for those without insurance. This is a great site to find the application for meds that your doctor will have to fill out, but it will give you a 3 month supply for free (if you meet their qualifications)…

I drink them for breakfast daily. It allows me to have something in the am instead of skipping and feeling like I'm starving by lunch time. I like them, but wouldn't use them to replace any other meals during my day.
