-

-
Thanks guys! I'm gonna look into getting a digital scale and start some weight lifting. :)
-
Any other suggestios?
-
I just use measuring cups most times...
-
try eating the white meat of the turkey and some potato salad, and then save some calories for the cheesecake :)
-
So lets say i went over my TDEE one day and the next day i was at work do i burn off any of those extra calories?
-
Yea that's what i thought too, i know you wouldnt lose as much that week if you were over your weekly calorie goal but under your weekly TDEE. Thanks :)

ok what you are saying makes sense and makes me feel better that you lost weight with little movement. and this time i am going to make sure that I log everything no matter how small, I think that was the problem before and probably the reason that i gained the 6 pounds. So since I found out my body percentage and then…

i don't do any of that stuff during the week (i do that maybe about 1 day every 2 to 3 weeks), the only thing I do is pick up my niece from school. I basically sit down all day and only get up to eat food lol. The thing is I was eating at 1400 since November and I was maintaining, and then I started to get frustrated and…

going to 1500 makes sense for the long run, but I basically sit down all day( I have 6 college classes that are online,I am in front of the computer all day), is 1500 too much?
-
I got my body fat percentage by using a measuring tape, I guess I am going to try the 1389 a day. And you're right the process has to be sustainable :)
-
I'm hearing two different opinions, I don't know which one to chose! 1500 sounds like a lot, because I know I don't really do much during the day and most of my classes are online so I am always on the computer...

thanks for the advice! I re calculated my TDEE and instead of using my BMR I used my body fat percentage and I got a lower number 1389 instead of 1500. should I use the 1389 or use the 1500?

I am 20 years old, female weigh 137 goal weight is 125, 5' 3" and pretty much sedentary
-
my TDEE is 1634 according to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/943139-weight-loss-cheat-sheet-ipoarm I used the body fat percentage formula to calculate my TDEE then multiplied by .85 and I got 1389 to eat every day to lose weight.

I did the exact same thing as you did when I was younger. I saw other people who were big and said I am not as big as them so I'm ok, and I never believed what the scale said I always thought I don't look that heavy. I knew I was fat but I did not know I was that fat until I started losing some weight and was able to fit…
-
feel free to add me, I have 12 pounds to lose!
-
Thanks guys! I'm going to try it hopefully it works!!
-
I checked it, it says 1512,thats seems a bit much...I just don't want to gain weight but i should try it since nothing is happening.
-
Sorry for the late reply guys. I have no idea what my TDEE is, is it like your BMR plus your activity level? I don't do much exercise, do you guys still think i am eating too little? And i think the last 6lbs will make a little difference and i will actually see the number i want on the scale. For some reason i still see…

I agree with what everyone else said that as long as its under your calorie goals you should lose. With that being said i have a problem i am eating under my calorie goal and haven't lost weight for a while I'm close to my goal i don't really know how slow weight loss is when you're 6lbs away from your goal? Any advice…

Thanks guys! I was wondering what would happen if i started eating at maintenance which for me ia 1600, what would happen would i gain weight since im not losing by eating at a deficit of 1400 right now?
