I've been working out and doing strength training for about a year and a half now (2-3 times a week). I guess you could say I've been a little random in my work outs. I've heard it's best to stick a "routine" for a few weeks at a time. Thank you for the great info! This helps a lot.

I stopped drinking diet soda for a few reasons. 1) a lot of it has too much sodium in it. Sodium is so hard to stay under, and I don't need diet soda to sneak in a few extra 100 mg or so. 2) It's addicting... I've heard some crazy stories. 3) Who knows really whats going on in all those chemicals.... it's scary. If you're…

First of all- great job! You should be proud of your loss! Everyone can always improve on their diet. I think it's a constant struggle for most of us... there is a lot of great information on the internet too, just dig around and you'll find some great resources. In terms of recipes my favorite site is…

Thank you all! I am really touched by all your kind words :-) I am definitely going to try not to comfort myself with food. I did overeat on the day it happened. I felt like crap afterwards instead of feeling any better. I don't think food has the effect on me it once did.... which is great! I think I will try out some…

I'm pretty sure it's the nutrition for the entire "plate". This includes the rice and the mac salad. The chicken is cut up into little pieces. I assume when it says "one piece" that's the entire fillet of chicken that they've cut up for you (they do this with all their other meats). I think in the mini you get one piece of…

Since starting my diet by skin is looking SO MUCH BETTER. I drink 9+ glasses of water every day. I try to eat as clean as possible (makes a big difference, I'll break out when I eat crap) I take vitamins every day If you're doing those things I'm sure you'll skin will slowly start to look better. Good luck!

Yay! 247 is my weigh-in for this week!

I would say running shoes... they usually have more gel to absorb the energy from high impact type exercises. I love my Asics. They work wonders! I don't have any feet/leg issues anymore. I can't believe the difference!

Getting a personal trainer seriously changed my life. If you can afford it, or can barely afford it (that's me!) I would say got for it. I knew my personal trainer from High School. He's an old friend, but he's now a master trainer for 24 hour fitness (he has a bunch of certifications, and has logged over 2000 hours with…

Here is a good guide to the vitamins you should be taking: http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-and-supplements/lifestyle-guide-11/vitamins-minerals-how-much-should-you-take?page=2

Yeah, I haven't been a fan until about 5 months ago. Now I eat it almost every day. My favorite flavors are black cherry, pineapple, and pomegranate. Strawberry and blueberry are pretty good too. But I like the more "exotic flavors".

Wow! Great to know. Thanks for sharing. I'm definitely staying away from that stuff!

Are you exercising?

4am workout?! Way to go! That is intense. Not sure I could do that... Let me know about the possible weight gain. I'm sure it's the sodium. That'll usually do it!

Mine says to take it 30 minutes before my first meal. Have you tried that? I wonder if taking it after breakfast would take away from the "jittery" feeling I get. Hmmm

Yes, great questions! You sound like my doctor. Currently I'm eating no fried foods, no meat except fish, no dairy (lactose intolerant), and no grains (I'm only doing the no grains thing for a few weeks, but regularly I do just whole grains). I cook most of my meals at home. A typical day for me would be: Naturade Soy…

Sorry, I meant that my net AFTER exercising is under 1400. I have never gone under 1200. :-)

I think those are some possible side effects but thankfully nothing I've experienced! I definitely plan on eating right and exercising after to keep it off. I know losing weight is a life-style... not a one time deal. Thank you for the support!
