Any successful phentermine stories?
I did some searching about phentermine on the forums and have seen all the bad stuff that can happen... so I'm not looking for anymore of that. Is there anyone out there that was prescribed this and it helped (and they didn't gain it all back afterwards)? Here is my story: I've been trying to lose weight seriously since…

Need help finding motivation after a death...
I had to put my cat of 18 years to sleep last night. It was time, she had kidney failure and was in a lot of pain. I had her since I was 7 years old. Most people don't seem to understand how difficult of a loss this was because it was a pet instead of a "person". I am finding difficulty finding motivation to eat well and…

Looking for a recipe... any creative people out there?!
Hi All! I'm trying to find something a recipe or two that doesn't have meat (fish is ok), dairy (yogurt is ok), and grains. I'm doing this for a bit to force myself to be more creative with veggies. However, I need some inspiration. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

How many calories burned?! Help!
So my HRM is telling me that based on my heart rate I burned 2000 calories in 90 minutes of exercise last night. All the calculators online say that even at a average of 170 bpm I'd only burn about 1400 calories. Whenever I looked at my HRM it was anywhere between 160 and 180 so I know it was reading my heart rate…

Tofu Experts Needed!
I was told that adding tofu was a great way to add "creamy-ness" to soup without all the calories of cream. Anyone have any suggestions as to what tofu would blend well into a soup? I know there is silken tofu, firm tofu, and all sorts of others. I just don't want a gritty texture in the soup. Thanks!

What's the strangest food item you've found...
I got curious about how bad for you some random food items (deep fried snickers bar, deep fried oreos) that I saw at the fair were so I looked them up on MFP. To my surprise I found them in the database.... Hey I guess we all have our cheat meals, no? Anyways, that made me wonder what other strange foods have people found…

Desk Job Exercise Ideas
So I'm in a 9-5 desk job where I sit in a cubicle all day. I go out for a 30 minute walk almost every day and I stretch in my cubicle. I do calf lifts and stand as much as I can. Anyone have any good ideas for exercises that can be done (discreetly) at work?

Hi everyone! I tend to get really hungry in the morning and can't seem to find something that keeps me full for more than a hour or so. Once lunch time comes around I'm starving. Exercise-induced Asthma... anymore else?
Hi All, I just recently was diagnosed with exercise-induced asthma about a month ago. I never realized that I had asthma because I didn't have the "weezing" or common signs of asthma (at least I didn't think so!). Anyways, now I take two puffs of abuterol before a work-out and I can finally exercise and it's great! Before…
