I don't see how everyone is jumping on me like I'm the one who's wrong, I just want to help him in any way that I can since what he's eating now clearly isn't working and he's still underweight. Yes his mother's typical food is boring but mostly because it's the same foods all the time and as I stated earlier, it isn't…

He's the one who asks me to cook him food that will help him bulk but in the end when I suggest something for him to eat he doesn't want to try it and asks for something he already knows. I am perfectly fine with the way he is now but he says he wants to be big and strong. Also considering he has eaten Italian food all his…

That sounds really effective! My boyfriend's stats are similar except he's 6'8" and 155lbs. Is your boyfriend doing exercise as well?

Yes, because wanting to cook hearty and delicious meals for my man totally has everything to do with me and absolutely nothing with providing someone a variety of great home cooked meals.

That's a pretty fool-proof idea actually. Him and I can't eat the same foods since I'm on a different diet than him, but adding to his usual dish might work very well! Also I think he doesn't like trying new things because as a kid he ate only the same foods all the time. I'd like him to try new yummy foods that I know…

Because it's really tiring to cook the same food all the time when in my home country I love to try new things in the kitchen.

Living in Italy, we already use a TON of olive oil! the hemp seeds is a fantastic idea though, thank you!

I never ever criticized his mom's cooking to him personally, it's not something you say to your man.

Can you all please stop telling me not to cook for him? not everyone enjoys the thought of not taking care of the man you live with. Also how dare some of you say he's not a man, being a picky eater has nothing to do with manliness, nor does asking your woman to help you with gaining weight have to do with being a man or…

I don't have the right mind-set to consider that to be okay. If it were up to him he would eat pasta for lunch and dinner every day.

All Italians are momma's boys.

He doesn't eat meat unless he hunts for it himself. Kind of pointless considering he doesn't have his hunting license.

I couldn't do that! Plus he won't eat food from the Asian supermarket.

Birth control makes you gain weight because of a change in hormones. Eventually your hormones regulate and the weight should balance out to what it was before you've taken it (without diet and exercise however). When I fist started the pill I was 16 because of a genetic predisposition to PCOS and acne issues. I gained some…

It's not a bias, it's a health concern if you're obese. You're more likely to take time off or get sick if you're obese than if you're in a normal weight range. It's more of a precautionary measure in order to save a company money in the long term. This is especially true if the company offers health benefits.

I guess this should be an obvious one, start on a more intense workout and slowly build your endurance for it.

Nobody cares about body issues in my country, plus there's plenty of different body types that can be found at the beach, chances are you're not going to be the only one who's self conscious about themselves.

I am of Italian background and just moved to Italy roughly a year ago. While the food is not much of a change from my previous diet in my home country, it's still richer in carbs than I'm used to. Although, there's no need to skip out on pasta everyday (for me). I just eat it for lunch with vegetables rather than sauces,…
