I also use bodybuilding.com. In addition to giving you multiple excersices for each muscle group, they also have demonstration videos to help you use the correct form. Incorrect form, poor posture, and the misuse of equipment can lead to injuries.

I don't think it matters as long as you are consistent and use the same scale. I'm curious. Did you weight at the same time? Your weight fluctuates during the day. If you weigh in the morning your weight will naturally be lower than later in the day.
