im exactly the same, im taking my weight loss in mini goals, and i want to lose 2 stone (28lbs) buy the end of May. scary stuff but determined!!

haha this is what i think? i actually think i am addicted to sugar. using something else as a substitute (such as the carrot idea) will just be no use for me, i know im eating a carrot and not chocolate. looks like my willpower and self control is what needs to be worked on!!

i have started to add more weights into my workout. i do need cardio as i feel so unfit at the minute so im building it up again but making sure i add weights in too. what is ketosis? :)

thanks for the comments guys, sorry for the slow reply... the thing is with me is self control. i have to be really strict. if i have a tiny bit of chocolate i dont stop haha. baby steps i guess :)

i think it can be a bit hit and miss. at my gym there are 4 different instructors and every class is totally different. two seem more like salsacize (pretty boring), another is like streetdance which is bloody hardwork haha and the last is what i would say proper zumba is, all hip shaking etc. it is taught by an african…

i think it depends. going off my weight etc i am classed as 'obese' but when im back at the gym (just coming out of a christmas slump haha) i can be fitter than a lot of people. although i do like my food too much!! dammit. i also think these categories can be so unrealistic. if i weighed what my 'ideal weight' is supposed…

this happened to my mum. she lost a lot lf weight and said she just didn't feel like herself. you should be very proud of yourself and your weight loss, I wish I had your determination. :)

Thanks guys! Iv been dieting for ages but seem to lose nothing but iv got the weight to lose! I eat healthy & go to the gym so im just looking at ideas to start the losses again!

i think the saying eat less and burn more is a myth. if you exercise, you have to up your calorie intake, otherwise your body is just holding on to it all and you go into starvation mode. the figures on here are just a guide and i think they are a lot higher than they should be.
