Rub lemon, lime or any acidic juice over the cut areas to prevent them turning dark during storage.

If I remember right, B vitimans have a slight diuretic effect. But if it helps get you off the plateau, count your blessings.

the problem for me is not how to measure the portion, but that I'm not satisfied after I eat it.

Sometimes my weight goes up for a couple of days then I lose it plus a good loss. Be patient.

BTW there is nothing "natural" about sugar...it is very processed.

find a source of fresh fruit & vegetables (ie veggie stand, not supermarket if possible). Whole foods are healthy, reasonable and filling.

look up a book called "Sugar Blues"....it is toxic in many ways. It took 3 weeks to get it out of my system. For one thing it is a major depressant. And yet I've heard so many people say they'd rather be depressed than give up sugar....that's addiction.
