That's what my girlfriend is like. It is Awesome!!!! I never thought I would find someone like that, but I did. I am the luckiest man in the world.

The more muscles you can invove in your workout, the better results you will have. Compound moves will usually give you the best workout. Machines are usually a little safer, but they isolate the muscles. You may prefer them though, because they are a little simpler too. I do prefer free weights. There are several sites…

Protein shakes, protein puddings, protein brownies, protein cookies. Molten lava cake 1 egg white 1 scoop chocolate protein 1 T cocoa powder dash of baking powder sweetener to taste mix with a little bit of water, just enough to make it moist, and get rid of the powder. Microwave for about 25 to 35 seconds depending on…

Your aim should be at least 1300. Especially if you've set yourself up for 2 lb. per week weight loss like most people do. Eat as many of your exercise calories as you can, as long as you are getting an accurate number on your burn. Some things tend to overestimate caloric burn, so you may need to play with it a little bit.

I'm trying to do the same thing. Strength gains are easy to obtain, but increasing lean mass is a little more difficult at a caloric deficit. I am trying though.

I didn't take time to watch the video. is that about eating a teaspoon of cinamon? It is supposed to be impossible? I had a work buddy do it, but he said he had to work up a lot of saliva in his mouth before ingesting it to get it down. He spent the rest of our shift in the bathroom though.

I don't have any links for information, but from what I have heard, Sodium can make you retain water, which will affect your scale weight, and If you have high blood pressure, you should limit your sodium, due to the fact that it will raise your blood pressure. I'm usually lucky to keep my sodium below 3000, but I do drink…

I try to save them for special occasions. Like my kids birthdays, holidays, family parties, etc. When They happen I do tend to go overboard though.

Fool yourself cookies are pretty good. I also made some similar with: 1/3 cup oats 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1/2 tsp cinamon sweetener to taste, I used about 2 packets 2 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce 1 Tbsp peanut butter dash of baking powder

I do it enough, that everyone just says, "Free day?"

You may want to log the strength training part of it as Circuits instead. If your heart rate is up, it will burn more calories, than if you do the normal strenth training where you rest between sets, and exercises. I've used a HRM, and usually burn 200 to 300 calories doing normal strength training in an hour, but doing…

It actually depends on what muscle groups you work, how long your rest sets are, and the intensity of your lifts. I found if I did my strength training in a circuit, supersetting everything, I could burn as many calories as I do when I do regular cardio. Doing it that way, I would log it under circuits though, which gives…

Look up strength training under cardio. Tell it how long you worked out, then it will make a guess on how many calories you burned doing your workout.

For most people it doesn't matter, but we are all different, and have different reactions to different things. That's why some diets don't work for everybody. I've noticed, even the experts disagree on a lot of things relating to nutrition. Find what works for you, then do it..

 Attaboy!!! And Welcome to MFP.

From what I've read, it should be around your workout, since that is when your body needs the fuel to feed your muscles, but mine usually depends on different social activities. If I go to dinner with my girl friend, or kids, it usually becomes my biggest meal. If not, it is usually my post workout shake.

Some things MFP recommends are minimum recommended allowances. Fiber is ok to go over on, but you can reduce your sugar by limiting things with sugar in it. Sometimes you can opt for more homemade foods, make your own sauces, replace fiber one bars with other high fiber foods that contain less sugar, etc. One or two…

I've eaten right before bed before, and never had any problems. I have read to eat according to what you are doing, so you may want to restrict carbs at night, but I have eaten them with no problems. Make sure you get some protein in before you go to bed.

That is cassien protein. I believe it is also in milk products. Cottage cheese is a good source, You could probably get by with a glass of milk too.

I agree. The original poster was just explaining how mfp works. He wasn't saying that is the only way to lose weight. There are a lot of people who tweak their goals to fit in with the way they want to do things. Some of it is still healthy, some isn't. The calories mfp recommends can be accurate, but they can be off too.…

I like to take leftovers. Sometimes I'll make a few pita pizzas, wrap them in tinfoil, freeze them, then put them in the microwave at work. I'll do the same with stirfry, or I'll make some chicken fajitas. Put the chicken, and peppers in a container, then wrap it up in a tortilla at work.
-
Most people need more protein than MFP recommends. There are a few things that you should exeed, set those up as a bare minimum. Protein, fiber, vitamin A, Vitamin C, Iron, Potassium, etc. I usually eat at least 150 grams of protein a day due to my goals.

Enter strength training under cardio, tell it how long you worked out, and it will give you a number based upon how much it guesses you burned. There are a lot of things to factor into your workouts though, like how long you rest between sets, which muscle groups you work, and how much you really exert yourself in your…

It's my understanding that your body needs those calories to fuel your body during your workout, and shortly after. I would recommend, if you burn a lot of calories like that to try to consume most of them around your workout. Maybe trailmix on a hike, or something similar. I don't think one day will kill you either way.…

I felt the same way, and you know what. Some of them will, but the only way to find one that will accept you, is to try to put yourself out there, and let them know you are interested. If they aren't interested in you, move on untli you find one that is. There are plenty of women out there, and most don't know who is good…

I've always had self esteem issues myself. I've never made friends easily, had pretty much, the same attitude you had about them. It never really mattered how I looked. I had issues with everything about myself, and never felt I fit in anywhere. There are a lot of people who feel the same way. I don't know what the answer…

I think the powdered version is fat free, and sugar free. I usually go with that, then add a scoop of whey to it for a healthy snack.
