Hit Shift+ Enter instead of just Enter

One day you might be having a scrub in the shower and find a hard lump, have a small freak out about it because WTF, and then realise that for the first time in a very, very long time, your tailbone is no longer hidden with padding ;)

If you mean sharing the diary entry so you can both log a reciupe you created, you can copy an entry from someone else's diary if their privacy settings allow you to view their diary. That only allows you to log the entry though, like a food. Actual recipe sharing, where you can see the details of the recipe like…

The feature in in beta, and it's very much not accurate. You'll need to look at more than just your beverages. You know that those items are beverages, the database/algorithm does not. It could be any item you logged, as Ann sets out above Consider that when you create an entry, there's no categorisation is a food,…

Yup, it always shows that, but with a 0 if none are detected in your log.

I've got some bad news for you about updates haha… just because they say they think it's a good idea doesn't mean it's on a list to be implemented. Key words "possible future update".

(I believe OP is a him 😉 )

Correct, you need someone with admin access :)

Flag > Report > "This is my post and I want to delete it" and then maybe put in the comment box you'd prefer it was just locked for new comments?

@Nova another one for you, a couple of times now I have been typing a reply, scrolled up the thread to copy something to paste (like a username) and when I've clicked back into the text box (or have accidentally clicked just outside it, maybe?) it disappears, with no way to get it back aside from clicking "Post Reply" then…

@Gidgitgoescrzy the hippy dippy thing sounds like a fun way to relax! There's a few things like that in my area, and while I may not believe that they're everything they claim, they do seem like a zen, relaxing experience and as you say, it's nice to get away from the troubles of the world. @conleywoods I'm so sorry,…

This indeed - and honestly, it can be hard to see from this side, but eating better will actually make you feel better and give you more energy. I know your diary is not complete, but the stuff you do log is stuff that will give you short energy boosts then crashes, and isn't doing you much good in the long term. I'm not a…

The small wins add up to big victories! Well done, cookies are not easy to say no to.

Oh, I didn't realise the mention issue @b3achy - that sucks! I do lots of post where I respond to multiple people in one post.

I finally got back to a morning walk this morning, the puppy has been sick the last 2 days, poor little fella. A couple of vet visits and he seems to be back on the mend.

Hi Phil! Welcome back, that's a helluva a wakeup call. I'm back on MFP after a lot of years too. It's a lot quieter than it used to be, but still a great place to be for support and info :)

My 'odd' trick is to address a sugar craving with the polar opposite in flavour. If I have a sweet craving, I go for sour pickles, or something spicy. For some reason it completely distracts my taste buds and stops the sugar craving.

Are you tracking your food? If so, first look through your day and note the highest sodium items. Then check against an independent database (USDA, for instance, or the label if it's packet) and make sure the amounts of sodium listed by MFP are accurate. If yes, start looking at alternatives or lower sodium versions of…

@Gidgitgoescrzy that sounds so frustrating, I'm so glad you have a doctor who is actually working on a solution/cause! PW: 90.5kg CW: 90.3kg. Finally got rid of the bloat!

I have gone through my wardrobe and thrown or donated anything that was too big, or even asything I could still get away with but was that frumpy, hide-the-fat-gal style. It's been so empowering! I've also been "shopping in my closet" and celebrating fitting back into some beloved clothes I hung on to in hopes I could wear…

You can search on the app, under "Recipes, meals and foods", just not on the desktop site.

Well done!! Looking great!! 🏆️

I'm finally doing exercise that I love and enjoy. Hiking because it gets me out in nature and challenges me, Taekwondo because kicking people is good for the soul, and pilates because nothing feels better than a damn good stretch.

Thanks Ann!! I admit, I'm pretty proud of myself. At pilates last night I was doing some hanging extensions with pull ups on the trapeze table and a lady who's been there since I started said "girl, you are a MACHINE!" and I was so chuffed because 6 months ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of it!
-
Thanks @PAV8888 ! You might be right, this might just be my body going "Right, time to his the brakes a bit". It will be interesting to see where this goes in the next couple of weeks!
-
Thanks @AnnPT77 , I guess I'm just curious because the higher calories (and you're right, not excess) and the big exercises aren't really unusual but the big jump hanging around for more than a day or so is (even when I have killer DOMS, I usually drop back after 48 hours), so I can really only identify the supplements as…

So an update to this, 26 weeks after starting this thread. I am 26kg down since the first post, smashing my elliptical fitness, haven't been running because it's been really hot, but have been walking/hiking and am covering 8 miles with significant elevation on rough terrain in under 3 hours, and with gas in the tank for…

I did wonder if the way that collagen "plumps" is by retaining extra fluid. @PAV8888 you might be right, there's been 2x 8 mile walks with decent hiking/stair components in the last week, so though I'm not sore there's probably a bit of retention due to that.
-
Thanks @lauren_989 ! My strength/resistance exercises are 5kg goblet squats 3x 15 a couple times a week when I remember haha, plus pilates 2x a week. Pilates I do through a physio guided class, so my program is tailored to me and quite challenging, I really love it!

If they're the ones that are made for heating, yes, they're fine. Basically, they're a brand that you can trust to safely do whatever they claim they do.
