Your weight, your eating disorder, don't know what a calendar is. It does not understand the artificial guidelines that you set for yourself. They don't know who your friend is, what America is, and why you need to do this thing by that date. They know none of that. You cannot lose weight for your friend, you cannot…

i weigh myself every day, but i don't get hung up on individual numbers, i look at the trend, whether i'm trending up or down. i understand that daily weights fluctuate.
-
thank you. i'll definitely take it slow and easy, i don't want to risk injury or setbacks.
-
thank you so much. I've been kind of lazy over the winter, this crazy amount of snow and cold really kicked my a** and now i want to take advantage of the upcoming nice weather.

ever see that post somewhere about the woman who was "cleaning up" before a pap smear, and used a face cloth that her daughter had used prior, not realizing there was glitter on the face cloth....

the key word there, moderation. 'nuff said.

two words - find yourself a good tailor... ok, that was more than two words. but you get the idea.

Welcome, Dianne!!! i hope you find what you need here.

just go to the beer store. but, it is more cost effective to buy the whole 24, if you're planning on drinking over the holidays. 6packs are for weaklings.

guilt is a wasted emotion. If its going to make you feel bad, don't do it. If you know what the consequences are, and you're going to do it anyway, then don't feel bad about it. its not going to get you anywhere.

do you know that stalls are normal in this process? and that it isn't even a stall if it doesn't last for a few weeks. I think that you're considered a "lightweight" and your loss will be slower. Be patient. Keep doing the right things.

Welcome. I had gastric bypass surgery 2.5 years ago. I"ve lost about 130lbs, but i need to lose about 20 more. I'll send you a friend request.

the stupidity.... wow... i'm speechless.

the organic"ness" of chicken has little effect on the calories (by little, i mean none)

chances are they know they're obese. It's so difficult. I had weight loss surgery, 2.5 years ago, lost 130lbs. Prior to my surgery, i thought i'd be obese for my entire life. Now, i want to approach every severely obese person and tell them that they have options. but i dont know if i can. It kills me to see people that…

you don't look too thin, but you do need toning and muscles.
-
mmmmmm pie
-
you need to create a calorie deficit. What goes in has to be less than what goes out. It's simple math. The method you choose to create the deficit matters very little.
-
do you want to "tone"? here's some information, "toning" is a "girly" way to say "muscle". Unless you're taking steroids, you WONT look like a man when you gain muscle. You'll look like a woman. With tone. READ THIS, i mean it. http://sophieologie.wordpress.com/2013/09/26/1200-calories/

I was cold, at a friends house, and she lent me a sweater. HER sweater. a NORMAL sweater. Not her husband's huge sweater that's too big for him, even, but HER OWN NORMAL SWEATER. It was soooooooooo weird. I always used to say "oh no, i'm fine, thanks, not cold at all" to avoid the embarrassment of being given a sweater…
