  • thats interesting. i havent heard of anyone else that has IBS issues during her TOM. I usually do too. And now that you mention about stress, I think thats what my problem is right now! I was wondering what my deal is because I havent been eating anything out of the ordinary. Thanks for the tips :o)
  • I know this is an old post but i thought i would resurrect it instead of starting my own.... I just started Yaz and was worried that I would gain weight while on it. In fact that is one reason why i started MFP. I wanted to make sure if I did gain it wasnt just because I was eating more. So far I have actually lost 5lbs…
  • omg thats so funny you say that. i battle with that all the time. thats why so far i only do the exercises my fiance has showed me how to do at the gym. i am mortified of looking dumb like i am using a machine wrong or something. If I swallowed my pride i guess I could ask someone how to use it. But then i dont want any…
  • yes yes and yes. I have had it since i was little. Genetic I think. I havent really pinpointed specific foods besides if I eat too many sweets at one time or too much fruit. Also for some reason EVERY time I eat at Claim Jumper, I have to run to the bathroom as soon as I get home. Its pretty bad. I know that generally…
  • my experience was slightly different because i was still a teenager but for 3 straight years i had a very regular 30 day cycle, then i started swimming everyday on the team and actually went 5 months without a period. finally my body figured it out and settled down again in a cycle.
  • yogurt with some -healthy- granola in it is also delicious and filling
  • omg party in the usa by miley cyrus for sure. i loved it and started singing along when i heard it first and then almost gagged when i found out who it was.
  • i have the same problem a lot of times. lately i have taken a small/regular portion, and then put away the food completely so i am less likely to get up and refill my plate. when i am done with that much i will drink some water and sit for a minute. the majority of the time i do not even feel as hungry after doing that.…
  • I totally agree. Thats also why we try to mix up our exercise with fun activities like tennis, hiking, swimming, etc. That way we wont get bored with the gym.
  • Hm. that actually does make sense. Thanks... :o)
  • thanks! yeah thats the plan. I dont want to fall into bad habits especially because people keep joking about all the weight we will gain once we get into married life. Yikes!!
  • Haha, my digital one does the same thing. It is very frustrating. It gives me a different reading if its on the tile, on the rug or on the wood floor. Normally 1 or 2 lbs difference. But my mom says it is always the same for her. Who knows.
  • Yeah thats true. I wanted to be more fit and if this is what my body is telling me what it wants to do, then so be it! I told my fiance he's got 2 options: chunky me with full boobs OR fit me with smaller boobs. Guess he cant have everything. Haha
  • Because I didnt have a ton of weight to lose in the first place, everything else seems to fit ok except a few pairs of pants and some skirts that are looser. I am normally a 32DD but i havent checked in a few months... so i guess we will see!
  • I went on a hike the other day and apparently burned about 800 calories. I wasnt expecting that but it certainly was nice! At the gym the elliptical is where I burn the most calories. About 100+ every 10 minutes. Its easier than running on the treadmill because it doesnt hurt your knees, so I feel like i can go much longer…
  • congratulations that is so amazing. i bet you are so excited about your guy too. that just makes everything even more awesome. keep it up
  • congratulations on signing up for a 10k. that is a big step. if you set little goals for yourself and work up the amount of running/walking you do slowly, you shouldnt have many problems. i am a terrible runner and i was able to finish one. i made up my own regimen by running three or four times a week. i started out…
  • my jaw literally dropped. that is amazing. congratulations on your acheivement
  • hahahaha that made me laugh. i would love to do that to someone
  • Oh yes I was wondering the same thing the other day. I did it before hand but I dont know if thats right.
  • Thats so awesome congratulations! (I'll admit I was curious to know how losing track of your nephew fit into a success story, but know i get it!) Keep up the great work!
  • I actually agree on that one. It is very frustrating when I decline a certain food, or extra helping of food (which might be very difficult and take a lot of self-control) and they undermine my decision saying that I dont have to worry about my weight. Even if other people see me as a healthy weight, I can tell when my…
  • I love working out the day of an event especially if I know Im going to meet new people. For some reason it makes me feel good about myself and more confident. I just make sure that I give myself at least 2 or 3 hours to cool down before I have to go anywhere
  • Thanks guys. Yeah Im willing to try it out :o) Seems like everyone here is pretty warm anyway so that makes it easier.
