You INSINUATED that the reason you gained back the weight was because you used diet pills to lose it. There, is that better? Also, why anyone would ever take 100mg of ephedrine in a day is beyond me! No wonder you were so angry.
-
And are you really nitpicking the fact that I used the word "infer" instead of "imply?" Are you trying to prove your superior intellect, or just that you took some college classes in formal reasoning? Because I couldn't give a rats @ss.
-
So you just wanted to give a personal anecdote, but were not IMPLYING anything by it? So how is it related to this thread at all then?? I don't buy it. You were offering your own experience to support your opinion that weight loss drugs don't work. Please stop denying the obvious.

So you ate 35,000 calories over your maintenance in one week? That does defy logic...

If you said you had been at it for years, and had not lost any weight, I doubt ANYONE would say "oh, just give it a couple more months." They would probably say you are eating more than you think, or burning less than you think. In that case, you would need to change some things. But to give perspective, I have lost about…

2 months is nothing. Someone is complaining about having to to diet for 2 extra months? REALLY?? You might struggle a bit in losing weight until you work on your patience.
-
Because you take in more calories than you burn. /end thread

What are you basing this claim on? I know plenty of people, including myself, who lost weight at a sensible rate (around 1lb/week or less), and still gained it back. I did maintain for a few years, but eventually, I lost vigilance, underwent emotional stress, life changes, injuries, etc....and poof...gained it all back. It…

LOL Oh, I thought it was moving on it's own, like a motorized thing. HAHAHA IT'S A POTATO

OMG, what is that?? I NEED IT FOR MY CATS!!

I love the boy shorts type, like the red polka dot one. I am self-conscious about my inner thighs, so I like some coverage. They are pretty jiggly. LOL

Up your protein, fat, and fiber. They will help you feel full. And it does get better with time, at least, it did for me.

"A logical fallacy is, roughly speaking, an error of reasoning. When someone adopts a position, or tries to persuade someone else to adopt a position, based on a bad piece of reasoning, they commit a fallacy." "Arguments consist of premises, inferences, and conclusions. Arguments containing bad inferences, i.e. inferences…

See, ephedrine doesn't make me feel badly at all. I actually feel better and more focused when I am on it, especially at work. Maybe I need to be on Adderal or something. *shrug* I never had problems in school, though. And on the days I don't take it, I don't really notice that my hunger comes raging back. It might be a…

In your previous post you stated that you lost weight losing stimulants but gained it all back. Then you stated you lost weight by making a lifestyle change and I presume, you have kept it off (at least until the present time). So you implied that the reason you gained the weight back the first time was because you used…

I agreed with this. But even habits that have been ingrained, can be broken much more easily and quickly than they were built. That's why weight loss and maintenance is such a struggle for so many.
-
There is a bit of a fallacy in your logic here. I lost weight previously and reached my goal weight without ever using stimulants. I eventually gained all of it back. Lots of people gain the weight back, no matter what method of dieting they use, whether they crash diet, or "learn" to eat sensibly and exercise. There's no…

That would be 6 mph, which is fairly quick. It seems like a comparable amount calories for other calculators out there.

Anne Taylor LOFT is great! Also, Macy's has sizes up to 16 I think, and juniors, if you're kind of in between like me (they are cut bigger in the waist).

I am trying to count the cats, and failing miserably.

Ugh...just thinking about some of my past dates makes me cringe. I don't want to relive them! LOL

I would do at least a 10-15 minute cardio warm up before lifting to prevent injury. You don't want to lift with cold muscles. Otherwise, I think it's just personal preference. Some will say that you should lift first, so that you have more glycogen to fuel your muscles, and you can lift the max amount of weight. I have…

I stalled for like 2 months, then lost over 5 lbs in 2 weeks...stalled another 2 weeks, then lost another 3 lbs in a week...

Just EC here...

I also understand that some may cut out foods for other reasons than weight loss. Eating sugary foods causes my reflux to flare up. It doesn't prevent me from losing weight, though.
-
I think it's awesome how you have improved your health through diet. You have underlying medical conditions that can often be affected positively by diet changes. The only thing I want to make clear to others is that cutting out grains isn't NECESSARY for people without underlying medical conditions to lose weight. The OP…

The OP did. And that was what my first response was to. You were defending the OP in your statement, were you not? *shrug*
-
But you DON'T have to cut anything out to lose weight. That's the point. For ANYONE.
