I'm in for 75 this month :) Hopefully I don't get froze out :p
-
Taking me longer to get back into the groove than I thought but over half way :) 26 miles down

11 Miles done for the month! Sick for a week so need to step it up!
-
OK! Thanks again will try it out Next week :)
-
So I used Garmin Connect to start a training schedule starting Monday the 9th. I have a 5K to do with my son this weekend so won't really be doing anything outside my normal runs. When I head out for my run on Monday will it just show up?
-
If I'm not too late I'd like to join for 50 miles this month! 3.5 done :)
-
definitely wouldn't log it. I did my run this morning then came back and got my son for an additional mile. Then my younger son for a nice walk. The morning run is all I count towards exercise. Anything else is just a bonus.

ok. Good to know thanks!. Will check out Garmin Connect.

Insanity fit test :)

ah. That would make sense then lol. I hadn't previewed the disk yet. Just looking over the month.

the last week of the first month I should say
-
Short runs make me hungry. Long runs not at all. I ran the marathon on Sunday and didn't eat until dinner after I just had no appetite, and felt like it'd make me sick if I did. Weird. But if I do only an hour then I'm starving within an hour after.

Thanks everyone! Thanks for all the tips as well. I'm still sore, but feeling the itch to run. The distance was 6 miles further than I've ever done before, but at a little bit of a slower pace then my pace runs. So I think I'll take another day off then get back to some short runs. I don't think I'd need even a full week…
-
lol. That's crazy.
-
I'm in for 125 miles. I missed last month and I missed the motivation :)

Last year after my half I took a couple weeks off and found it next to impossible to get back in the groove again. I lost it for the summer and started up again in the fall. I haven't decided how much time I want to take off this year. But I can feel myself getting mentally burnt out right now so I know I'll need some time…
-
awesome! congratulations!!
-
I eat chocolate all the time. Will likely eat a bit more than usual with the kids tomorrow :)
-
Oh the amount of junk food places is crazy. I pass 2 edos, 2 subways, 2 mcdonalds, burger king, dq, mucho burrito, extreme pita, a&w, canadian pizza, boston pizza, 2 chinese food places, fat burger, pizza hut, all on the way to the grocery store. Those are all off just the top of my head lol. it's crazy!

I snack on cereal before bed ALL the time. Lots of times in bed ha. I'm steadily losing weight. Nothing wrong with eating before bed :)
-
I have a similar problem with boots. My calves stop them alot of the time lol. But I notice with the 15lbs I've lost that my boots fit better so am definitely losing in the calves, just not very noticeable to my eye. I also don't measure them.

If it's in your lungs I wouldn't ride. If it's mostly a head cold I'd do a light easy ride. Nothing strenuous just to get out.
-
lol. I do as often as I can. But sometimes with kids it's inevitable. That's making this training very challenging! I'm getting up SUPER early monday morning to do the 17. Will have to be on the treadmill, but I want to do it all at once as the evening 6 miles I was able to do at a faster pace than the morning 9. 18 next…

Toaster Strudel!!

Maybe I'm mean, but I cook. So I decide what gets cooked. I give my boys a chance to have input on 1 or 2 meals a week and the rest of the time they eat what I make :)
-
Don't think I'm making 150. Sickness, plus sick kids takes it's toll unfortunately But I will get close!

Well started the 15 this morning, but got a call at mile 8 that made me cut it short. Running home took me to 9 miles. I've been told I can split the long runs if need be and do them on the same day. Hope it's still beneficial as I'm going to do 6 tonight to finish up the 15!
