  • Why not just extract the white fat and don't 're inject it. Kinda like liposuction. Walob.
  • 34 year old man from London, England here πŸ˜‚
  • It's just a free app called pedometer lol downloaded via playstore on my phone. It is pretty accurate as I've counted 500-1000 steps and then stopped and checked my phone. Thanks for explaining.
  • Also how does my pedometer register my steps if I'm walking on the spot????
  • Absolutely. I intend to start running once I down a few more lbs but in the meantime while at work I'll aim for my 10000 steps in the office seeing as I'm here till 10pm tonight!! As you say it's better than nothing.
  • Yes I see that. Any other benefits? Walking on the spot must burn calories surely so gotta be better than just sitting here right?
  • I'm 249lbs at present. According to a few articles I've seen on Google can I really burn 15 calories per minute by skipping??? Seems high.

  • Nothing wrong whatsoever if you're doing only cardio in the morning. 30 minutes brisk walk for example would be encouraged. The onlybtjing is say is possibly do that early then alternate days with afternoon cardio and weights and then just weights the following day with no afternoon cardio. Obviously leave 4 days or so…
  • Thanks guys.
  • Sorry I was just using an hour walk as an example.
  • It is definitely 5.5 miles as I've driven it twice and clocked the distance. It does take me 1hr45mins if that makes any difference?
  • How reliable is that formula? Is it set in stone? It would make my 5.5 mile walk 410 calories.
  • I assume you're doing the 5:2 to have only eaten 800?
  • Hi Ryan. I'll certainly do my best by you. I'm 34, with 2 kids living in London. I'm currently 247lbs having been 266 a couple of months ago. I admit to not logging HERE however I do count my calories daily. Look forward to hearing back from you buddy.
  • Well what'dya know? Went for my 5 mile walk, ate my 1900 yesterday too and this morning I'm 2lb down on the week. Onto next week....πŸ˜‰
  • One good piece of advice I read on here years ago was when it gets to about 8pm and you've eaten your daily calories brush your teeth. I don't know about you but I don't wanna taste NOTHING once I've brushed!
  • Thanks to everyone I'm good again and losing 2lb per week over the past 2 weeks.
  • If it works then great. Not weighing yourself isn't a problem if your weighing food and logging accurately then trust the process.
  • I'm going to start logging on here for 14 days to get a clearer idea thanks guys.
  • I log on a piece of paper calories only I become too obsessed with macros if I log on here. I'm eating 1850 per day however, whenever, healthy salad, McDonald's or juice I don't exceed my allowance. Introduced 3/5 mile walks daily too. I do religiously eat porridge every morning though.
  • Why not just divide it into 5 containers and enjoy 218 calories over 5 days:)
  • I don't even particularly want to lose FAST I'm in the for the long haul (finally) I'm sticking to fortnightly weigh-ins going forward probably on a Monday before breakfast.
  • You're absolutely right I just hoped to lose a bit more, bearing in mind I have a lot to lose, in the initial stages before it levels off that's all.
  • Weighed in this morning at 251 meaning a 3lb drop in the last 10 days. Progress, however for a man weighing 261 a month ago to drop to 254 in 2 weeks was great but just 3lbs in the last 3 weeks is disappointing CONSIDERING I'm eating 1800-1950 and walking 10-15000 steps per day of deliberate exercise. Anyhow off to the…
  • My advice whether you take it or not.... Aim for 1.5lbs per week which would see you lose approx. 37.5 lbs by NYE. It might be 30. Who knows? Do everything you can to read up and understand CICO and how MFP works. Your partner will still love you I'm sure regardless. Then splurge over NYE and then enjoy a happy 2019 at…
  • Don't stress. PLEASE. I'm the worst for This. About 3 months ago I tried logging again and a few days in we visited a restaurant in Essex called spoons. Basically a buffet type thing. I ate Indian, Chinese, roast dinner and then puddings galore. It set me back about 10 weeks as I only started logging again 2 weeks ago. If…
  • I know how you feel. I don't suffer from depression but I've yo-yo'd all my adult life. I've never felt better than when I weighed 210. I'm currently back at 252 but well on the road to 200. It's a lonely experience I've found - losing weight - especially as my wife can eat whatever and whenever. Stay strong and talk to…
  • Absolutely. Apart from the obvious health benefits it flushes the crap out and does help you understand the difference between thirst and hunger. Drink enough water is key advice.
