I friggin LOVE this machine! i used it ALL THE TIME before i broke my foot! can't wait to get back at it! and I definitely think the calorie burn is pretty accurate, I was losing all kinds of weight while I used the machine and ate back all my exercise calories.

^^ This is your problem. Eat more! I know it sounds counterintuitive, but I'm losing way more now eating between 1600-1800 calories a day than I ever was eating only 1300!!

i had a super hard time with this. i just started really moderating what i drink. it was hard at first, but now when i go out i don't get drunk as much as i used to (just turned 22 and i'm still in college, sooo peer pressure sometimes is a difficult one :P). i just have a beer or two, or try to drink things with less…

This is true.. I guess I'm just afraid of overdoing it because I feel like every time I read the boards people are like ERMAGERD YOU'RE NOT EATING ENOUGH. Not to me, but just in general. And it had me a bit worried :tongue:

I have asthma as well, though mine is kind of mild. I just use my maintenance inhaler every day which has helped a lot, and if I'm going to be doing cardio I use my albuterol inhaler to open up the airways so I'm not huffing and puffing as much. Sometimes you just dont have as much of an appetite. It happens once in a while. As long as it's not a daily thing, I don't think there's much to worry about. One day won't ruin your progress much :)

It's ok, it happens gradually. As long as you make sure you log EVERYTHING you eat (including small snacks because they really do add up!) then you'll be setting yourself up for success :)

My SW as of last Friday 1/4 was 161.1. Hoping for a loss this week, but we'll see!! My goal weight is 135, and I hope to be around that before my wedding next May. :)

The excuse I most commonly end up using (though I try not to use any at all) is that it's hard for me to make time between going to school full-time and working 2 jobs. I need to be a lot better about it though!
