Three of my girlfriends and I are cooking for ~18 guests on NYE. I need suggestions on rounding out our menu.

So far, set in stone is:
Coffee Pepper Rubbed Beef Tenderloin
Mediterranean Pork Tenderloin
Scalloped Potatoes

Suggestions?
Asparagus or Gr. Beans?
One of the guests is a fisherman and has offered up Salmon. Nicoise Salad??

ACG HELP!!

Are you trying to make a healthy menu? Is this a sit down dinner or grazing crowd? Bah, here's some random stuff I like to serve:

    Buffalo wings
    fried mozzarella sticks
    finger sandwiches
    ritz crackers and spray cheese
    California Rolls
Those chicken skewers at Thai restaurants with the peanut sauce
    Cheese platter with pepperoni

I just made these for Christmas and they were AWESOME:
Green Beans with shallots and bacon

    1 1/2 lbgreen beans(750 g)
    4 pieces Bacon sliced
4 shallots (I used the white part of a green onion) thinly sliced
    2 clovesgarlic, thinly sliced
    1/2 tspsalt
1 tsp Chili Pepper Seasoning Paste (I just used powder)
1 tbsp Whole Grain Dijon Prepared Mustard
    1 tbspwater
Boil water. Add green beans and return to boil, 2 mins. Strain under cold water.
Cook bacon in large wok. Drain all fat except 2 tbsp. Add onion and cook until tender, add garlic, cook another min. Stir in salt, paste mustard and water to make paste. Stir in beans and cover until tender crisp, 5 min. Stir in bacon!

Thanks for the goose! There's gonna be a little more to be goosed than I would like after ... well mostly after being a lazy *kitten* and eating everything offered to me. Le sigh. Mmmmm bacon.
