  • I DEFINITELY did more that 100 jumping jacks today at my ab class, so I can check that one off. And I worked out today for 70 min, so check! I'll try the burpees when I get home, but I don't think my asthma is going to let me do too many... :(
  • 150lbs I've only lost 1lb in the past 3 weeks but apparently people can tell that I've lost weight. Strange... My clothing doesn't lie though, I'm down one dress size!!
  • Well, I actually changed up my routine on Wednesday, but today I decided to stick with it! I started a 30 min class at the gym and although I feel like throwing myself off a balcony when I'm done, I feel much better through the rest of the day. Even the trainer was surprised I came back for another class! LOL Yay me!
  • I finished my 10 glasses of water by 12pm (although I honestly had forgotten about the challenge until the last 2 glasses!!!). I didn't go for the plank nor the squats since I started a class at the gym which tired me out! I did do planks during the class, so that counts right? 30 sec on each side and 1 min normal plank. I…

  • WOOOHOOO!! Just what I needed :) cw - 150 gw - 145 (in 4 wks. Eventually 140lbs!) Goals: -log in EVERYDAY (even on cheat day) -workout 3 days a week for at least 60 mins -up my strength training a little everyday -keep a low sodium diet and a lot of water -dance a little more often, no matter who's looking.... and..... DO…
  • I actually got my period the day after. I just didn't take that in to consideration since it wasn't due for another week. I guess the new workout plan/diet messed with my cycle a little. I was able to sleep all weekend long and now I feel like mowing 5 lawns!!! WOOOH!
  • YUP! I log everything into my food diary and I make sure that still eat a healthy amount of calories on workout days. I even skip my salad and eat something with meat for lunch on those days since I workout in the morning and I'm starving by lunchtime.
  • I actually had my thyroid removed almost 3 years ago. One of my biggest complaint since then has been the vitamin D deficiency. I had extreme arthritis-like joint pain for years, even before the surgery, but it turned out that no only was I already vit D deficient, but they apparently nicked my parathyroids in the process…

  • Tues and Thurs i eat breakfast at 6:30am and workout from 7:30-9am. It's really the only chance I have to work out, but thankfully my body agrees with the timing.
  • Height: 5'7" Age/Gender: 20 Female Highest weight- 170 lbs Current Weight- 155 lbs Lowest weight- 127 lbs Goal weigh-135-ish lbs (I just need to lose body fat and gain muscle, so weight doesn't really matter to me)
  • Yeah, I have a bad ankle too, I've twisted it 3 times and broke it once...plus I'm asthmatic so I feel your pain in the exercise column. But I only use the Elliptical at the gym, it's the only one that doesn't hurt after 30 min. If you don't have access to a gym, swimming is good. There's a park by my house that has the…

  • 1mg = 0.001 gram (google :P) Synthroid 125 mcg.... but I think I need to go higher again, I've been fainting a lot. I see my new endo on Monday.
  • I'm going to REALLY honest with you... You don't go to the gym just when you want to lose weight, it should be constant! Whatever exercise you chose (running, bicycle, gym, etc...) should be worked into your weekly schedule as part of a healthier lifestyle, especially after you lose the weight. If money is an issue, do…
  • My bp likes to have fun going up and down whenever it pleases.... I've fainted a couple of times already :/
  • I haven't had my thyroid for 2 years now. You need a balance diet and plenty of exercise, just like anyone else. Carbs are essential in the human body for energy. I suggest you cut a couple hundred calories per day and exercise regularly!
  • I had a total thyroidectomy 2 years ago at 18 years old due to an under active thyroid with growing nodules. I've never had any weight issue because of this, before or after the surgery. My doctor even assured me that an under active thyroid does not cause you to gain weight, it's the symptoms (low energy, tired, excessive…
