Do what I did in the beginning, still do sometimes along with my vigorous gym exercise. Put some really fast, hot, sexy music on and lay down flat on your bed, on your back. Now, do a hip/tummy belly dance, that might just kind of sort of resemble a sex act, keeping up with the beat of music. Contract your tummy and buns…

Dating an average weight white guy (49yr) who supports my (59yr) fitness effort to lose 180 pounds (lost 80 so far - 50 using MFP since 1/1/2013). He's a great inspiration and coach, not pushy or judging. Yet, he loves that big round bottom of mine and wants to see some left in the end. We're both progressive, liberal,…

Ms , is my gender specific title. Huggys is a fun variation of my last name. I've used it for two decades.

I'm eating everything, no real sacrifice. The total focus is on portion control. It's the only long term solution. Otherwise, evenly you'll cave in to those things crave. This is a new approach for me. Typically, I "diet". This is not a diet. The app allows me to plan meals, stay within the prescribed guidelines of my meal…

As a victim of severe childhood abuse by both parents, of every imaginable kind and being deprived of food, I'm pretty sure it's the root of my need to feel the void with food. I do realize these people bargained for this abuse, but it hurts me too much to see people being humiliated and verbally abused. It brings up…

If we are really going to support each other, let's start by everyone enabling their weight loss ticker on their posts. We then can quickly browse all the members of this elite group in this thread to see who is losing, who needs some extra motivation and encouragement. Yes?

I look forward to the day I can run on the treadmill.

5'11' as a teen, I was between 125-145. Not until my first child at age 20 did I start gaining weight. Began when I was pregnant with her.

Hello ladies. I'm Jan, 58, I'm from San Diego California, but residing in NW Arkansas now. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in September 2008. I was told to lose weight from the 345 pounds I was before surgery and we tried to hold off on the surgery to that end. A month later the cancer had serious escalated, I had…

We were just discussing my injured knees from relocating our home. Kim suggested that I use the food rest on my leather reclining, which is all part of the chair with no air between the seat and the foot rest. Use stomach muscles to push the leg rest down to the floor, but not lock then control raise my legs back and…

This list is a keeper.

I'm way over a 100, with a 174 loss goal. Add me. It's a long road to the finish line. I had endometrial cancer surgery in Sep 2008. Been uphill battle every since.

Cinnamon and blend in 2 TBSP of one of the following: Smuckers Sugar-free Preseves, boysenberry, red raspberry, blueberry, apricot, peach or orange marmalade. it's awesome yummy, fills you up AND is a nice zero sweet tooth fix.

When I have a sweet craving in general, I have a one cup serving of oatmeal, add cinnamon then 2 TBSP of my favorite Smuckers Sugar-Free preserves. I like the boysenberry, red raspberry, blueberry, peach, apricot and orange marmalade. It's amazingly good and fills you up. When warm, it serves as a comfort food given you a…

I drink Godiva Chocolate Truffle cofffee 0-0-0-0-0 nutritional label. If you add a bit of non-fat milk, makes a yummy latte.

I think for many of us, ill health over 50 is a primary factor in getting and keeping on track. Looking back through the posts in this thread is proof that 50+ can do it. Lots pounds lost from this age sector here. Way to go all.

Fantastic!

Smuckers is one of my weak points. Really like the 'free' version and it turned the 'gag me' oatmeal into a nice dish.

Happy birhday, great work!

If it were possible, then you could eat a pack of cupcakes a day and be assured diabetes in the near future. Not wise to exercise enough to eat a pack, same effect to be destined for diabetes.

Starting January 1. Go team!
