  • Hahaha! Just a few light years! :D It has been very helpful to hear everyone's reviews and opinions on what has worked for them. I really wasn't interested in the GPS aspect as a top priority, but I thought about how often I've gone off trail maybe I should consider it more! My phone can't be trusted to last more than 5-6…
  • Awesome Job!!! You look fantastic! :)
  • Awesome job!! Keep up the good work! :)
  • My brain hurts reading through this thread! :D But with that said, its been a great read and I've gathered some great info!
  • Congratulations on a fantastic loss! You looks amazing!!!
  • Wow! Fantastic transformation! You look so healthy and strong!
  • I am slowly coming off keto. From everything I've read and seen on here, it is best to introduce carbs very slowly!! Increase by maybe 5-10 grams a week. I'm still trying to keep around 50 - 60 grams per day net. I haven't gained any weight mainly because I'm keeping a calorie deficit and keeping similar macros of higher…
  • This! And check out the LCHF group. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group The biggest key take away for me was keeping fat high! Your protein should be moderate. My macros look like this: Carbs 5-10% Fat 70% Protein 20-25% Good Luck! :)
  • :) Thanks!!!
  • Everyone has been so helpful and I know I'm not the only one who appreciates the help and encouragement! :) I enjoyed being a part of this challenge and group even though I wasn't 100% keto the whole time. I lost a total of 4 pounds, yay! I most likely won't keep strict keto, but will be keeping carbs under 40 grams and…
  • pwrfl1 I use that same recipe for colds as well! Works wonders  fanncy0626 People would use the abbreviation and I had no idea what they were talking about either! :D Not sure if anyone here has checked out http://www.marksdailyapple.com/ but on his blog there are multiple stories of how people eliminating wheat…
  • It's apple cider vinegar. I mix mine with a glass of water. Sometimes I will take a swig of it. Make sure you get the unfiltered and unpasteurized. Bragg's is the most well known brand, but there are others.
  • I swear by the ACV! It has helped my joint inflammation. And I love sour things like lemons and limes!
  • This is great information, thank you for doing some research! I will definitely keep those tips about the re-feed fat and carb levels in mind.
  • Awesome link Mary! :) I never thought about its as a re-feed! This is a good tool to keep in mind for those occasions it can be tough to stick to keto.
  • That's awesome! I have found the same is true for myself. I had a rough last few days trying to keep my carbs in check. After waking up this morning feeling very tired and bloated, I had to get myself back on track and tighten up my eating. For me it can be a very slippery slope with carbs. One meal with bread leads to 2…
  • These sound awesome Mary! I'm going to try some this weekend!
  • This recipe is really easy and I'm sure delicious. I had to share :) Who doesn't love a BLT?! http://dlsh.it/yGGDPjR

  • Thanks Mary! Do you use the caloric requirements recommend by mfp or another source? Currently mine are set from a tdee calculation minus 15%. Kristie
  • OK half my post is gone. Errrr..... anyways. Question: If I go over calories by let's say 200, but my macros are good will fat loss stall? Sorry if this has been asked before! Kristie
  • Me either, good to know! I've been straight out with work, house & dog sitting and shoveling a boat load of snow up here in the northeast. I haven't had that much time to get good structured workouts in, but my eating has been pretty decent! I too like this way of eating. I really love my bulletproof coffee for energy.…
  • Amazing Job!!! All that hard work really paid off!
  • All the recipes, motivation and articles are very helpful! :) I'm doing well. Really LOVING bulletproof coffee!! So delicious. I can really tell a difference in how I feel with the increase in fat from when I did just low carb. I wish I had known then to focus more on the fat vs the protein. I tried these chili hand pies…
  • This is a good watch as well! https://youtu.be/H7mjm9LyW-c
  • Good Morning everyone! Really starting to enjoy this keto transition! :) I have done low carb before and to be honest it was completely miserable! Keto seems much better and the support and info from everyone has really helped. In the past by day 3 of transitioning into low carb I was exhausted and had severe brain fog and…
  • Hello! There is a Keto challenge if you're interested. A lot of people have great success with both. I am just starting to transition to a Keto way of eating but you can check out this challenge for some helpful links! :) http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10507486/keto-3-week-challenge/p1
  • @fanncy0626 Nice! I will definitely give this a go. I just bought some MCT oil to add for extra fat along with the grass fed butter. I tried coconut oil once in my coffee and something just wasn't right. Had I know I needed to blend it, I might have been able to actually drink it! Lol :D
