Bump... So many good recipes!

You look amazing, way to go!

I agree that you aren't eating enough. My weight loss stalled after just a few weeks following the guidelines MFP set (1400-1600). I upped my cals so that I net just above my BMR (or try to). I'm still losing at least a pound per week, and have reduced my body fat without losing any muscle. Chances are, you are eating way…

Way to go! You have definitely motivated me to start this program!

I have just over 100 left to lose, for a total of 129. Anyone feel free to add me.

I don't know anything about the FT1, but I have the FT4 and love it!
-
I also suggest the FT4, I love mine!

I bought a Polar FT4 a month ago, and it had completely changed the way I workout. I love it!

I have lost 7.2 pounds. I have trimmed 2 inches off my waist, and another 2 off my hips. I have been drinking at least 64 oz of water a day. I have started under my calories everyday but one (a splurge I allowed myself). I have started walking on my breaks at work = 2 miles per day. I have been cooking healthier meals for…

All of these transformations are so inspirational. OP - you've lost the weight, rock the bikini!

I use Wyler's, a cheaper brand. I keep packets in my desk at work, they really help me drink a lot more water. I use the single serve packers in 32 oz of water. 1 gallon = 40 calories. Not too shabby!

I like fruit on mine. I use canned peaches, apricots or pineapple. Also chopped fresh apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

I'm 28 with two kids, 7 and 13. Just sent you a request.

I am only walking right now. I'm reading back into exercise after dealing with some major back pain.

My split pea soup is very simple (if you buy a bag of split peas, there is often a recipe on the bag). 2 cups dried split green peas, rinsed 2 cups chopped carrots (not necessary to peel them) 2 cups chopped celery (don't forget the leaves) 1 head cauliflower, chopped (have also used 16 oz frozen) Add all ingredients in a…

Add more protein! Eggs, meat, cheese, beans... They will fill you up more than simple carbs.
-
Try blending them into a soup. My favorite is split pea soup. Once it is pureed, you can't even tell there are carrots in it. Personally, I love carrots, especially chunks of them in soup.

I'm new to the site as well. I've lost almost 7 lbs so far, about 100 more to go. Anyone feel free to add me.

I don't eat until I get to work on weekdays, so breakfast has to be desk-friendly. I often have a bowl of oatmeal with chia seeds and peanut butter/pb2 or yogurt/cottage cheese with fruit. I also keep some breakfast Lean Pockets in the freezer (egg, bacon and cheese) when I want more of a savory meal.

You look amazing! As long as you are healthy, don't listen to anyone that tells you you have to stop. You might change your goal when you get closer to meeting it, but that's up to you.

I was heavy as a kid, but it wasn't until I hit puberty that the weight really started coming on.

My name Is Marissa and I am 28. I live in Northern California. My current weight (as of 1/1) is 264.2. My goal is 150, but I will re-evaluate when I get closer. I work full time at a desk- up to 50 hours a week and I have an Avon business on the side. I'm very busy! I am currently dealing with some back issues, with pain…

Soup! It's a great way to stretch meat or incorporate veggies. Split pea, bean, chicken and vegetable, the are many healthy options to choose from. You could Google "healthy soup recipes", I bet there are a ton.

I'm trying to lose 114lbs. I'm 28, currently 264. Also dealing with back issues- not sure exactly what yet, waiting on MRI results.
-
I am also trying to reach my goal of 114lb loss by my 30th birthday in March of 2014.

My high was 279 (in 2006) - I have fluctuated from 240-279 over the last seven years). I am now at 264 and I'm starting fresh on MFP after switching from another site. I'm hoping to make this the year the year that I finally get healthy. I would love to support you and be supported on this journey.
