It is really tough to avoid being a junkie to food products designed and manufactured by multinational corporations that spend billions to brainwash you. We all struggle with this. Congrats on your decision and good luck!

The Specialized Roubaix is a great frame...the geometry is fairly aggressive yet forgiving. You'll enjoy riding this on for years.

Had a cycling accident a few years ago that ripped all the rotator cuff connections off my left arm. Through therapy and constant lifting, I have 100% range of motion and strength, but my shoulder are no longer symmetrical as the muscles reconnected a couple of milimeters away from their original locations.

Awesome for you! I'm an avid cyclist and love riding with my wife...we bought a tandem last summer and it has been wonderful. Peace!

Try eating eat two lunches, not one. I eat meals at: Breakfast: 7 am (600 calories) Lunch #1: 11 am to 1 pm: (600 calories) Lunch #2: 3 or 4 pm (300-400 calories) Dinner when it happens (800-1,200 calories) If you plan for two lunches and call them both LUNCH you won't eat junk and you'll be fueled to rock your after work…
