As others have mentioned, quantity and quality are of great importance. I started at 150lbs and am now down to 135lbs. I eat around 1800, give or take, each day. Food is fuel. Also, the quality of the nutrients you are getting is severely lacking. Add some fruits and vegetables in there and try to get away from the…

In regards to the gal from the pictures -- I hadn't seen this before in the post; My body is already relatively toned to that degree. I'm down to 18.5% BF and am maintaining well. I'm basically just trying to go the extra step -- eating raw, cutting some grains, etc... eating healthier. My understanding of paleo was not as…

Yes! Very much so. Gives me an idea of what to build my meals around. The tahini dressing sounds delicious! :) Been looking for other ways to use tahini (besides hummus)

Thank you for the great reply. I will check out that website. I do work out about 5-6 times a week (Running and lifting, interval, etc...), as well as working an "on my feet" job. (12 hour shifts at the hospital). I use the plant fusion protein powder which offers 22g protein with 4 carbs as supplementation. I don't eat…

I'm looking at trying to move toward a more paleo-raw version of vegan. Don't need any attacks, just seeing how my body reacts to limiting grains, bread, etc... Because legumes are frowned upon in paleo, I'm going to try and limit those as well. After a few days of limiting carbs, my body feels and looks better. Less…

I find that I am much more efficient and have better endurance by running toe first. It's also more comfortable for me and I have never had shin splints or issues.

If you eat eggs: 1 avocado 1-2 Hard Boiled Eggs Salt and Pepper Optional: Spash of Greek Yogurt Onion When I used to eat dairy/eggs, this was one of my favorite lunches. All put into a whole wheat wrap with sprouts, tomato, etc...

Well this escalated quickly.

I just listen to my body. If I think I can do days in a row, I do. A couple of the weeks, I added extra days doing those intervals because I didn't feel ready to move on.
-
One of the best things I've done for myself. I went from barely being able to run for 5 minutes at moderate speed to running 39 minutes straight in week 6 at 5.5 mph. Resting and max HR both have decreased by about 20 beats/min. It's been awesome. Feel free to add for motivation both ways. Love new friends on here!

Nope. He's a guy. Haha.

Have at it! Iove looking at diaries. And new friends!

I like this! I'm always counting reps but I like the idea of doing it for specific time interval. I'm gonna try this!

I'm currently doing the couch to 5k program -- never been much of a runner or cardio person but this has definitely helped with that. I'm just about done with the program. What would you suggest upon completion for HIIT?

I do side crunches and reverse crunches. Not sure if that's helpful or not but I do them anyway. haha.

Haha. Same!!
